Mmmmnooo I can't argue that. I mean they were nice but...
being born in 1981 is the best because I got to see both decades and 80s still has the edge. the early 90s were probably the best part of the decade.

If we are talking about anything pre-NES then I have no idea what you are talking about.

Just gotta say though since this will probably become revisionist history like i'm sure the 80's and every other era has, but neon pink and all that shit was really really late 80's to like 93 wasn't it? Post 98 is pretty much modern and the mid 90's are a lost era to me. I only remember the music.

I would say the neon stuff ended around '95 or '96.

When I was in kindergarten I had a pair of funky squiggly-checkered neon purple Bugle Boy shorts.

Having lived out my awkward teenage years in the 90s... 90s nostalgia is so weird to see. Especially when it's people ten years younger than me talking about it. I don't have any particular nostalgia for the decade.

Guess I can relate since my cousins who are 15/16 reminisce about stuff from the '00s.

Life was great back then. Remember not figuring out those damn Sonic barrels? I had to find a Gamepro. Then GameFAQs came into my life. Good times.

I feel old now.

Big difference in my mind between early 90s and late 90s, so I wasn't sure what to expect from the vid. 1998-2000 was a completely different world than the early 90s, from the Internet to music and fashion.

(I liked the late 90s more)

Agreed.

The early 90s were a wierd neon echo of the 80s.

The late 90s were a wierd standard definition/CD technology preview of the 2000s.

Universal soldier was an awesome game. I never did play any of the games from the series it was based off though.

I had that exact sound effect thing with the same neon colors and all. Snap bracelets, Sonic 2, Goosebumps, man the memories of being an early 80's kid in the 90's.

Yo and yo muthafuckin' yo here some shit from the 90s. This wrestlemania poster straight outta 1989 and shit, them slap bracelets what they had in the 80s and shit, yo that's the fucking 90s.

If you think going back 20 years is amazing you should visit the North of England. People's whole houses are stuck in the 50s.

Only 90s kids will know what these sounds are. 100% true. We played with those fucking sounds so much and I have no idea why.
I had forgotten those sounds but it all came back. I wouldn't be surprised if my old sound box is somewhere in the house still.

Would have been better without the blatant Sega fanboyism.
You were either a Nintendo kid or a Sega kid. Never both. Don't bring your hippie post 2000 I love all the consoles ideology into the 90s. It was all out war.

Did I miss the pogs? Where's my damn pogs!
Still got mine. Even have books and a board game.
