G-Fex, I'm with you on the whale probe.. That's what you get when a number one property in hollywood is met with the left's desire to preach through films. It always ruins the film and nobody wants to buy it. IMHO, they'd have done better to scrap the save the whales crap and do "The search for her". Much more interesting movie ;)

... You know STIV is the second highest grossing original star trek film, right?

Great job man used to follow your thread on the horrid myspace gaming forums. Happy to see you still soldiering on the progress you have made looks awesome. Ever considered starting a blog for your project?

If this were turned into something walkable when finished I would probably spend dozens of hours just walking in it. Great effort so far.

These are the new lab tables created this morning and placed in the Geology and Biology lab
spaces. They'll also wind up in the Chemistry lab before the day is out.

The cabinetry and counters are essentially trimmed up to the hull at this point for
The Geology and Biology lab spaces. Figuring where there might be problems with the
hull required me to go ahead and cut in the window placements in the outer skins; so,
The skins were imported and trimmed up. More needs done there; but, the essential
work needing done in order to proceed is out of the way.

The birdseye shots show the work done this morning on the interior. The first person
shots were me having fun. Still workin. Might be more updates yet today.

Intended to post these last night; but, zonked at the computer. So here's the newest.
Reworked the walls as intended. Added doors back into the mix. Did a few other fixups.
removed the bridge deck lift and repositioned the lift car and doors. Still need to mod
the lift walls to match the new corridor wall thickness. Back to building props for the
moment.

Been workin a little today on the beam energy test stand for the High Energy lab. Not
sure this is the way it's gonna stay; but it's a start.

He hasn't even been online since his last post in here (over a year ago).

I've never been interested in Star Trek, but I'm impressed and depressed by the scale of his ambition.

I wonder where it ultimately got him?

Impressive.

Now, can this be ported to Oculus when it's done so we can have a Trek version of Sony's HOME?

I'll bring the tribbles!

Why does it have so many freaking rooms? Seems like a lot of the ship is taken up with useless space.

Oh that's right didn't the crew have families with them and nonsense like that?

Had a crew compliment of 430, mainly in the saucer, plus some extra space. 285.9m long.
