"Hairy panic" terrorizes Australian town

That's not anywhere near the other pic. These spiders can reach 20cm legspan, with a body length around 10 (which seems about right in your pic). The other one is more like 20cm body length and 40cm leg span, assuming an average hand there.

Plus there's some suspicious stuff going on with ELA analysis and you can tell there's a hint of a vertical split right between the hand and the spider just looking at that pic.

just look at the carpet. The texture is much bigger with the spider.
Weird to shop this, because it's probably allready a big fucking spider.

Why would someone post pics on fb that are lies, Raist. Why!
Is this a plushie spider? Tell me it is a plushie spider

I'm being told it's a shop so you're safe.
For now

Disappointed this isn't about the awesome Aussie Beard Rock band The Beards. Although they have been doing what the headline is saying for years.

So when nature realizes it can't kill you with insects, it now tries to suffocate you with plants, right? Dafuq.

The tumbleweeds are just a spider and snake delivery systems. Right to your front door.

*relieved it's not spiders*
Oh, how nice. Weird, even the tumbleweeds want to end humanity in Australia.
*someone posts a spider pic, it gets quoted over and over*
FOr fuck's sa-

This is what happens when enough people shave their pubes in the bath thinking it will be ok and they will drain. They will not. Learn the lesson people.

Are Australians immune to big Spiders at this point?

Like would they not panic if they say a big Spider in their bathroom and how commen is it to see big fucking insects?

Can an Austrauan person go a life time without being in the same presence of a huge critter?

Nah I still shit myself at the sight of a Huntsman, even though they are harmless and actually hunt other spiders and insects, you better believe I'm gonna Mortein that mother down.

I'd love a birds eye view of the place to see the streets covered in tumble weed. It does seem like a convenient place to hide snakes, spiders and other asshole stuff.

I have no new spider pics so I'll just post this old one from 2014 at my sister's place.

That has to be an incredible fire hazard. Particularly in a climate like Australia's.

Not according to the local council. It was deemed NOT a fire risk which means they will not intervene leaving the town folk to fend for themselves.

We aren't immune to shit. We just gotta learn to kill the fuckers and eventually get a little desensitized. I would say that it is extremely uncommon to not see a couple of palm sized spiders if you live in Australia. Huntsman spiders are mostly harmless but they are quite common and grow pretty big.

Depends where you are in Australia determines what kind of critters are around. Sometimes it isn't even the big ones that are dangerous.

I'm Australian and also though this. Also my fb friends are currently sharing this image Whistling spider apparently.

Also lol at this tumbleweed.

My entire body just shuddered, I got short of breath and broke out in goosebumps. That picture just gave me a panic attack. Gah, this tumbleweed is the kindling we need to burn Australia to the ground.
