Neither, put something actually useful like back buttons instead of gimmicks that more easily break your controller.
The kindafunny episode does very much imply they are prototyping a controller with some similar features. It wasn't just a factual statement from Phil that the dualsense has some features imo.Certainly not adaptive triggers.
Then again Phil telling that Dualsense has some features does not mean that they are gonna be adopted.
Good for you, for me they are just gimmicks.I have my PS5 for 3 months now and I can tell you that this is more than a gimmick. It came to a point for me where I´m disappointed if a new game does not feature haptics and full Duals Sense Support.
It helps me to immerse myself in the game. Rumble effects were always nice and this is the next-gen version of that. Once you get used to it, you don´t want to miss it anymore.
Only downside is battery life....

I disabled the triggers from the ps5 option but i leave the vibration on (most of the time), it's a nice novelty but i don't give a damn about it after 10 minutes, also like you said, the already non optimal battery inside the ds5 get even shorter life with this stuff turned on.
Onestly, even if it help with immersion, i think that 2 simple back buttons are just more useful overall and less abstract.
Not a bad idea buddy, but reeeeesetters are scared of anything related to sex and the ds5 kinda act like a dildo with the haptics on, so...Listen here pal, you can take your differing opinions to a different site, like Resetera.
fuck internal batteries. It's like wishing for yourself to be fucked over.I would like them to copy the analogues positionig and use an internal battery.

In 10 years when you will take out your ps5 from the closet, good luck with that battery.
AA batteries can be replaced, controler never has to be plugged back in and you can always use rechargables.
There re NO CONS to AA or rechargable AA solution but many to built in.
I know it can be replaced but good luck finding good non chineese, not old battery in 2040
omg you can't be serious.Yeah probably also why almost all electronics use AA batteries. Phones, handheld consoles, tablets, all other non-MS controllers, smart watches. I heard even some cars are powered by AA batteries.....
Also wondering why MS decided to use an internal battery for their Elite controller...![]()
omg you can't be serious.
It's a controller and lion batteries just die with age. Why make it harder to replace when You can just have AA or rechargables AA ?
Why have this weird, hard to find, hard to get to battery which WILL KILL YOUR CONTROLLER in the future.
And the battery life is better...
edit: And stubborn people like you STILL CAN GET RECHARGABLE BATTERY plug and play kit like microsoft offers
Can someone translate what language this is in?'Certainly not adaptive triggers.
Then again Phil telling that Dualsense has some features does not mean that they are gonna be adopted.
I think MS will adapt them in the next generation.
Is not the adaptive triggers that break. The common trigger failure is in the spring used in the dualsense triggers. They increased the tension of the spring and that may lead to the sprink to break more easely. Dosent matter if u using adptive triggers or not.Apart from that, L2 trigger get broke (same for R2 in a friend's controller), and when asking Sony they told me "sadly, it's a common failure". I must say that they replace it and send me one new (or mine repaired, I don't know) very quickly.
Yup and no cord that gets in the way of your console and the controllerfuck internal batteries. It's like wishing for yourself to be fucked over.

Neither. Both gimmicky trash that serves only to destroy battery life. Dualsense was a misstep.
