My whole theater was in a continuous laugh throughout the movie.. Where you guys from?? I would hate to live there lol.
Just to be clear, I WAS laughing at that part because I figured there was some racist connotation about it, I just didn't understand it 100%.

saw this today. Thought it was pretty damn funny. Not quite as awesome as the first but still hilarious. I saw the guy who played Bush a few weeks ago live, he was way better in person. The bit after the credits was awesome. I called it halfway through the flick though.

One of my friends was from NYC, another from San Jose and I'm from MD (and black.) I could guess that that was the joke, I just wasn't sure. Never really heard it before.

I'm more familiar with fried chicken.

Absolutely no reason for him not knowing, San Jose is probably the most "racist" (I guess stereotypical would be a better word) place I've lived in :lol

Well, she lived in a suburb of SJ, if that means anything. She's a pretty innocent girl.

Loved, loved, loved the original. I totally disregarded it until someone finally grabbed me and sat me down in front of the DVD. One of the best comedy surprise hits ever.

WTF is this shit about though? Wasn't this one supposed to be H&K Go To Amsterdam, or some shit?

Well, they do try to go to Amsterdam.

Where? South San Jose? That's where I live :P
I really have no clue. I have two friends from "SJ" but I know that they actually live about 20 minutes apart from eachother. I think they take it a little loosely.

I saw this on Saturday
in the right mood if you know what I mean :D

I'll say that the first one is my favorite stoner comedy since Friday, a true classic in the style of Cheech and Chong. For the record I don't really like How High or Half Baked, neither are anywhere as funny as Friday or Harold and Kumar to me.

That said, I didn't really like the second one all that much. It was a decent movie with some funny moments, but as a whole it's forgettable to me. I wasn't really let down because I didn't think it would be that great, in that sense it's better than I thought it was going to be. I didn't dare hope for a grand slam like the first one.

I thought some of the absurd parts
like them smoking a bong on the plane
were handled better than I thought they would be. Glad to see Harold at least has some sense, the way he was flipping out was funny. I also loved that look at Harold in college, I wish he had had a speaking scene where he was in that outfit. There were some nice nods to the original, the best being
the unicorn and NPH, but I also liked the 'thank you come again' and the scene with the bag of weed.
The soundtrack was used VERY well in this movie, much like the original. Some of the best laughs were from the soundtrack. None of the problems of this movie really have to do with Harold or Kumar, they both still have great chemistry. NPH too comes back to a good role. Beverly DeAngelo even has a nice turn playing the classic madam ala Dolly Parton in Best Little Whorehouse.

The part that really bothered me was Rob Corddry, who I am a decent fan of. But his character was just so over the top and offensive that I found him annoying and lame. His character and all the racist gags really didn't work for me, at all. I listen to Howard Stern, one of my favorite comedies is Blazing Saddles, I'm not one to get offended. But the blatent, stupid stereotypes this character used just were, well, stupid. And perhaps that's what I should expect from H and K, but the first movie was rarely ever this stupid, and blatently offensive just for that purpose. I chuckled when he
poured out the grape soda, but more due to Terry Tate's look on his face, but when he was shaking the pennies at the jews, it was stupid AND predictable
, a no-no for comedy.

It's a shame when you consider the movie is really built around him and this stupid absurd plot to arrest H and K. The scene with GW Bush though, was actually the part I THOUGHT would be stupid and lame from the previews, but in turn nearly saved the movie. They handled that scene with intelligent humor, didn't always go for the easy joke, and it ultimately turned out to be the most like the first movie,
along with the scene in the woods with the cyclops, obviously.

It's too bad, with a few tweaks this movie could have been really good. That said, in it's current state it's still WAY better than either of the other two Friday movies. So, it's got that going for it. Hopefully with the $12 mil budget and the $15 mil opening weekend, they can finish off the trilogy with a better movie. Not that they left it open for a sequel, but you can always hope. Roldie and Kumar have a good thing going, they should try again.

Somebody, PLEASE, PLEASE find the clip of the after-credits
where NPH allegedly lives.

PWND, I spoiled my self by reading a spoiler tag On purpose, fuck my curiosity

can anyone tell me the song that plays when they first enter bush's den after
running from cheney to hide

My dick goes to yoga, yo dicks a fruit roll up.

That song was funny shit. Plus the 311 in the movie was awesome.

Id give it a 8. Just as good as the original.

Really well said. I agree with everything you've said. It was good, yet its somewhat forgettable and not a classic, yet still good. It doesn't leave a scene that you can remember fondly of...

I was so thirsty during that scene :/

I got the joke too and was cracking up. The guy in the background asking for kool-aid had me rolling.:lol

Edit: sorry for the dp. I forgot I had already just posted. Studying for finals has really taken a toll on my brain.

Seen it tonight, thought it was better than the first.

NPH driving the car was just hilarious.
"I think i can handle a few mushroo..JESUS CHRIST did you see that unicorn? Its horn so shiny."

I too thought it would be stupid and lame from the previews and then it was stupid and lame in the movie. Bush parodies are about as unoriginal as you can get these days. I loved the premise of them somehow coming across the Bush estate, but having the big guy actually on-screen was a bad idea.

Other than that, though, I loved the film, and thought it was a fine sequel to the awesome original (which I just barely saw the other week).
Goth Harold
is one of the funniest sight-gags I've ever seen in my entire life.

The NPH after-credits scene is awesome, too. For a brief moment you just see him rising and saying "...fuuuck!"

Watched the movie last night. Haven't laughed so hard at the movies in a while.

"Check if he got some Kool-Aid!"

This made me laugh so hard. :lol, this movie was so damn funny. I saw this and Iron Man the same night, money well spent.

I was blown away by the
bottomless party :lol. I thought "OK, they showed the girl door's beaver, that's it." but then it was pussy after pussy :lol

I watched it tonight. Fucking loved it! :D

It wasn't the same as the first one, since they kept moving around, but it still held hilarious moments and Kumar is fucking awesome. :lol

Question:
so is NPH "dead" now?

I saw a piece of this after iron was over, what a lump of shit. I loved the original, have probably seen it ten times and I'd rather watch it again than see another 15 minutes of EFGB. Smelly lump of shit.

Ok, we'll just ignore that.

Anyway, just wanted to add that I loved the Daily Show guys in this. Also, I love how this series treats black people :lol

It's not that bad, but it's certainly well below the original.

I'll be just fine if I never see Rob Corrdry's stupid ass ever again.

I watched this earlier today after thinking I would not go to the theater again until The Dark Knight, but I didn't really enjoy it nearly as much as the first. Harold and Kumar is one of my favorite comedy movies, but this one just fails on so many levels. Worst part was the whole Kumar love story shit they had. Best part of the movie was how despite this movie came out years after the original, the movie references continues with the idea that the events are only a few days after all the shit that happened in the first movie. Wasn't nearly as good as the first one and a lot of the jokes here were just stupid ones that you already knew the punchline to about 2 minutes before the joke was finished. As bad as I am making it sound, it wasn't as bad as some movie sequels have been in the past like the Friday movies and all that. Oh, and as bad as the Kumar and that girl Flashback was, it was hilarious when you see Harold walking up dressed in that way.

It was pretty good but I thought the movie went down a notch when NPH came in. His character is really funny but I don't think Harold & Kumar need a third wheel so to speak. Those two playing off each other, the "cockmeat sandwich" scene, for example, works so much better than the other stuff.

That's also when the movie seemed to focus more on Kumar's love plot which was pretty lame overall.

Movie was pretty good, no where as good as the first, lots of good moments though

"yo check if he got some KoolAid!" :lol :lol :lol

ps. i just started watching 'how met your mother' , i love how is charachter is pretty much the exact same as he plays in harold and kumar :lol

Way too much toilet humor. Toilet humor is only good in limited quantities.

EDIT - now that I've had time to think about it, I believe toilet humor is only good when you aren't expecting it. Having 4-5 toilet jokes in a row kills the humor pretty quick.

Ahuahua, saw this yesterday, the whorehouse scene had me rolling. 'He branded me!' :lol

My friends wanted to leave during the credits, but I knew
NPH couldn't die. I believed in him!

No, I streamed it. I don't download movies anymore, too dangerous, especially when you can stream any movie you want somewhere.

How is it dangerous to download movies? :|

Anyway it's probably much better high than when your sober. That's why I made sure to smoke some shit before I watched it :p.
