I don't hate her at all, her position is completely understandable. I think the only way you can hate her is if you're openly or secretly rooting for Walt because you think he is doing what's best for his family. I don't know if he counts, but I hated Ben Linus from Lost, he was just unlikable and a shitty person but as the series progressed and you get to know him more and how damaged he is I started to like him even more that other main characters

Ben Linus is an awesome example. LOST has a few examples: Sawyer, Linus, even Jack gets his redemption when he turns into a badass in season 6.

In Season 3 they've done a great job of maturing him, though. The transformation is very noticeable but you get hints of child and adult out of him.

Basically, it's what you'd expect to happen in the zombie apocalypse. A child hardens much faster. It's like if you put a kid into the military.

I'm glad they did what they did because it makes sense and it improved the character. I don't think he should be played as a full adult though; they need to let him keep some childish qualities.

And I like that hat.
