The delusion that they wouldn't reeeeeee if a female was raped in a game.No. Which part are you struggling with?

It's a great question. Similar questions pop up in my mind every few seconds when I take the time to read their threads. Why would they "reeeee" about a strong female protagonist taking action against an attacker?
Probably was betamaxHopefully Arthur gets a soothing salve to put on his bottom after his predicament.
On his 1890s VHS.

Why did you ignore the content of 3 posts, including the one you quoted, in order to spend so much time attacking a straw man that I already ruled out? We can't have a productive discussion if I have to keep pointing back to things I already said to answer your questions.
Because they have REEEEED for something way less offensive and way more innocuous before.
Resetera, thine true name is Bitchetera!
Repeating the same argument against a stance I never even argued for (and even explicitly ruled out) doesn't do you any good. You are talking to your own imagination. Someone who doesn't exist. An opinion that has not been expressed in this thread. It's not my fault if you ignore what I actually say and instead choose to assume something else that you wish for me to have meant. You're being bothered by your own laziness to read and hear others for what they are communicating.Grow up or just play Teen or E rated games. This isn't a debate that should even be happening in 2018....
Let the adults play Mature rated titles and move on.
Getting shot in the face, run over by a train, kicked in the head by horse – right after I murdered countless people, robbed them, punched them, cut and butchered them. I don't see a problem here either, just because other games haven't gone so far yet. It's a video game, I've probably murdered a thousand people in it by now and stolen thousands of dollars.... Oh, but this is going too far...
lol, that could be right something for a t-shirt print... or the last advice in the troubleshooting section of every manual. If all fails, use dynamite
When the player get enough points, he is told to meet El Burro in person at his favorite bar, the aforementioned Red Clam. Upon entering the location, the ending cutscene strongly suggest that El Burro had a sexual relation with the protagonist.
You intolerant bastard! How can you not believe him? They'll be fine. Just like you can't be racist to a white person, you can't rape a man.
The way media should be! Open, but not too gratuitous in the daytime. It depends on the type of nudity and whether it's associated to sex or not in the situation it is shown. Full nudity in a sex situation (with or without sexual action shown) can't be shown in daytime TV, but anything else is OK as long as it is not in-your-face. Boobs can be shown anytime, deodorant TV ads show women naked from the waste up even talk shows show how to do a breast exam etc. Asses and buttcracks are never censored (it's so weird seeing boobs and Asses censored on those American naked island survival shows!). Genitals can be shown in glimpses and never close up daytime , like naked man getting out of bed and into the shower, etc (except medical stuff like showing how to do a testicular exam, that is shown close up and daytime), at night those restrictions are gone (naked island dating, naked pick-a-man for date show (this one does even a 360 close up view of the chosen man, etc).
Because that's the way media works, and how gender/age attitudes work. An adult male is fair game for anything. Why does the rapist always has to be a man? Couldn't a man be raped by some nice lady? Sexist pigs, those guys in Rockstar.
Wheres the outrage from the SJWs? Oh.. it happened to a man so no one gives a fuck.
They're more focused on when John calls Abigail names.Wheres the outrage from the SJWs? Oh.. it happened to a man so no one gives a fuck.

I don't know if you understand this but that video has nothing to do with the scenario in RDR2. So again, why would people be offended by a strong female character taking action against someone who attacked her?
Because it is the same scenario.
Are you saying a woman being groped is the same scenario as a woman being raped and then killing her attacker?
A woman being groped and smashing her attacker to the ground at the applause of the onlookers.*
What the fuck are you doing following a shirtless, inveigling hillbilly into his ramshackle shed anyway?
Just shot him in the face with a shotgun. The game did not approve. You get negative honour.i'll make sure to murder that person when i get to his house.
And being raped is more honorable? Fuck that. Kill him lolJust shot him in the face with a shotgun. The game did not approve. You get negative honour.
And being raped is more honorable? Fuck that. Kill him lol
Well, you are not supposed to know about the rape prior, lol, 1899 does not have the internets.
So it just looks like premeditated murder or a senseless killing.
Now after it happens, I wonder what if it does that?
Don't just shoot him! Tie him up and put him on the train tracks, Wild West style.
Is this supposed to be worse than the other GTA games where I commit tons of murder? Can't wait for GTA: Columbia where you help human traffickers make snuff films and child porn because hey, it happens in real life, so why not? We're all mature adults so it makes sense to turn these things into our leisure entertainment.
Just checked out the place and visited his love shack.... im guessing its gonna get patched out of the game as the social justice warriors are having a field day
i think my favourite comment so far was "is it considered consensual if you know whats about to happen but still choose to visit?" ...some people overthink things

The premise, pure and simple, was the random, hamfisted, insensitive, thoughtless, flippant manner in which they did it.If its something that you feel is um "morally" wrong, DON'T PLAY IT! Plenty of E rated, family friendly, good value, MORALLY good games you can enjoy.
Stop arguing about this one. Was never made to be what you are arguing about.
How do you sensitively implement rape? The premise, pure and simple, was the random, hamfisted, insensitive, thoughtless, flippant manner in which they did it.
"Don't like it, don't play it"? The question, which I was already asking, and regarding which was making a futile attempt to find any sensible thought from anyone here, was why this is the attitude toward something as serious as rape, and yet for ten thousand other aspects of the content within the game or how it is designed, everyone is perfectly content to spend days on end discussing the merits or failures, praising or criticizing them by subjective standards, comparing personal thoughts and feelings on the different aspects of the game to each other to parse out what we think would be the best for the game and how what we actually got stands up in comparison?
The rating has absolutely nothing to do with this, because I am not talking about censorship. I am talking about human reception and the merits of a deliberately crafted work of media. Why is absolutely everything under the sun on the table for open discussion, but the second we get to rape we have to just accept what they decide to do with it or shut up and go away? Why is that your attitude toward rape as game content? Why are you not treating other aspects of game design and content in the same way? I already expressed my view of the sorts of things I think should have been done for the inclusion of such content to be considered as being done in an acceptable manner.
I'm not going to quote my post for you. Go back through the thread and find the one where I toss out a handful of ideas of things they could have included to do it in a manner that is sensible to what it is in real life and matching to the measure of seriousness and impact on characterization and development that their violent criminal lifestyles has on them and the overall narrative. How do you sensitively implement rape?
You do this a lot. "I'm not going to answer you, go and look at that post I wrote earlier." It's extremely lame.I'm not going to quote my post for you. You know what else is extremely lame? A dozen people asking me the same damn questions that I already answered because they're too lazy to read the thread, defeating the purpose of even having a thread. This is a discussion forum, not a one-on-one texting session with me starting the moment you jumped in.You do this a lot. "I'm not going to answer you, go and look at that post I wrote earlier." I read the thread. I asked you a question. You refused to answer it. Which pretty much tells me all I need to know. Later. You know what else is extremely lame? I refused to answer it because I already did earlier. If you willfully, immediately forget what I said regarding your question (as you apparently did read the thread), why should I then repeat myself as if you won't just ignore what I said again? Pretty much tells me all I need to know about your level of desire to hold honest discourse. Later.I read the thread. I asked you a question. You refused to answer it. Again, why are you acting like I am trying to say they shouldn't be allowed to do it? That is not what I am addressing at all, nor what I am asking. I explicitly ruled that out multiple times now, yet you keep bringing it up and tearing it down, presenting it as my position. It is not. It is a straw man. Why are you repeatedly getting so worked up over something I never said and that you keep pulling out of nowhere all by yourself?
