Hey, shhhhh ok, don´t let anyone listen. Curse using the first one. He seemed to believe in this mumbo-jumbo too, so it may work better. But I foresee the possibility, or not, that some people may, or may not, be pissed, or not, at her aparently not so clear.

Regardless of how serious you are, the idea of going to a psychic with a list of internet usernames and a print out of a forum thread and asking thirty four identities to be cursed is a hillarious image.

Update:

I wake up today with a stomach ache and had to take a dump. I take a dump everyday, but I think we´re onto something.
I also have a sore throat and a mild frontal sinuses congestion since Thursday.

So GAF what do you think?

It´s about a curse, The Dark Arts, space unicorns, a Gaffer being conned, again, and $100, or more, leaving someones pocket.

Talking about money, we should make up to 50 people on the list. Maybe Gina has some kind of family value curse. Or a curse 40 people and curse another 10 for free promotion.

So in light of that, it really offends me when people make fun of psychics and say they're all frauds. Some of them are, of course, but some of them have amazing powers and do a lot to help people.

Okay, I just woke up. 4 hours until the appointment. Surprisingly, no one PM'd me asking to be taken off the list. I will check one last time at about 11:00 for any last minute additions or deletions. Also, please keep informing me if you see that I've made any typos on the list. I would like to be sure that the names on the list are accurate, in case that ends up being vital to the whole process.

Sorry I haven't been able to field all the questions, but I'll quickly try and cover a few points here:

1. I haven't been back for a proper session with Gina since the first visit. Her shop is literally a block away from my place however, and I walk by all the time. Occasionally she'll be out having a smoke when I walk by, and I've chatted with her a few times. She's met my girlfriend (the short blonde nurse she predicted!) and we told her the whole story about how we met just like she said we would. Most of the time when I walk by she's with a client however, she seems to do quite well unsurprisingly.

2. I'm not going to agree to any other proposals suggested in this thread for the time being. I will bring a printout of the entire thread with me when I go for my session, and based upon how the conversation with Gina goes, maybe the curse won't be viable. In that case I can discuss other ways for her to prove her powers to you guys, and I'll certainly not be afraid to consult your ideas. I do think a lot of them are very reasonable.

3. Again, I promise beyond a shadow of a doubt that I will not do any 'Internet Detective' work on any of you. I have no interest in finding out your names or locations or any other specific info. The curse will be based on your usernames and avatars. If Gina needs more personal info, I will decline.

4. I will report back after all is said and done. That could be anywhere from 12:30-1:00 PST, depending on how long the appointment takes. I really have no idea what to expect. I'm nervous, but a little excited like I'm sure a lot of you guys are.


If anyone comes to their senses and wants to bail out, PM me!

Not really surprising since most people signing up are aware that psychics only use cold reading and/or vague predictions, and in all the cases so far have not been able to demonstrate psychic powers in any controlled experiment.

Tell her that if she actually has real psychic powers she can get a million dollars from the James Randi Educational Foundation's Million Dollar Challenge. All she needs to do is show them that she has actual psychic powers and she wins a million dollars (which noone has ever won, because noone so far has exhibited and supernatural powers or abilites, only self-delusion and/or trickstery). If she says she isn't in it for the money, tell her that she could just take the million dollars and donate it to charity and watch her wiggle her way out of that one.

Had one experience while I was at work. Random dude asking me if he wants my future read (or whatever psychics do).

he mentions my younger siblings, work stuff and what really blew my mind was the whole long distance relationship stuff (was in one).
Also told me to write a name of a flower and a color.

He named both. Mind blown. He mentions that I'll come across a lot of money and my love life will uhh, blossom? And that I shouldn't tell anyone that this happened.

Then he asks for goddamn money. From the cash register. Then from the bank. Told him sorry and he left. Then I mentioned this all to my mates.
A year later, relationship turns to shit and I have no money :lol
