Now I'm sad :/

edit : Something tells me that wolf wasn't really messing with the mans cattle.

Thanks for the warning op. Hate seeing hunting photos. Congratulations, you shot a wolf from a distance with a rifle.

When will people start to realize that the size of the killed animal is not impressive, unless they killed it with their bare hands. It´s such a backward thing to do. Will the person eat the meat at least?

Small man, about 5'6, and his knees are bent. I'm 6 feet tall and I've had german shepards stand up and give me a kiss, so I can believe a wolf can be that big.

...snout does look a little blunt for a wolf. It could be an overgrown\well fed wolf hybrid...

and that picture sums up why I HATE HATE HATE hunters, pieces of shit with automatic weapons killing majestic animals like that (when the animal doesn't know it's in any danger) and they think they are macho

I won't say that I hate hunters because I might go bow hunting with friends one of these days. But it is hard to respect man's cavalier attitude towards nature. That animal might have been used to going around people's homes, might have gotten fed by people, or been friendly with them. (Might explain the bandage on the foot...caught in a trap and someone put a bandage on him.) But wolves are a real danger out in some wilderness places where people live, so I can't really fault someone for killing a wolf that's been peeking around the house. Going out and hunting them down for fun is where I draw the line though.

doubt that other wolf killed and ate 3 cows a week though...a wolf pack maybe, and one every 2 weeks...I sense exaggeration but who knows. Wolves don't wolf things down like our pet dogs do. They kill prey and let it sustain them over days or longer.
