Yeah, I think I'm on the McCoy side now.

Team McCoy
Just did.and Jonesy can't catch a break.
Spoiler tags are here for a reason, if this was a spoiler discussion it's supposed to have spoilers in the thread title like every other show/game.Yeah, I'm glad I'm watching it right now otherwise I would be pissed, but then again, I wouldn't have opened the thread because I know better.

Amusing how everyone raged over Diablo 3 spoilers and GOT but again i guess it's ok to spoil this and whatever im ok with it, it's gaf and i shouldn't of been that surprised because it's gaf.
Hopefully it'll convince them to produce more genuine history-related programs instead of reality show nonsense.
Yeah, the Hatfields were *much* shittier than the movie made them appear.Hatfields were such bad guys.
Holy fuck. Absolutely insane.
No one should be worrying about Costner's legacy now. He's behind one of the most shockingly successful cable TV show of all time.
I thought tom berringer was great in this, i almost didnt recognize him at first
I wonder if this will be a game changer for the History Channel. It'll be interesting if they become the new AMC in producing dramas either as mini-series or full fledged shows. The mini-series style of pacing worked well for this show.
Edit: I forgot. They greenlit the Vikings.
Night three of HISTORYÂ’s HATFIELDS & MCCOYS surpasses night one delivering 14.3 million total viewers making it the new #1 entertainment telecast of all time on ad-supported cable. It also averages 6.3 million Adults 25-54 impressions making it the #1 entertainment telecast on ad supported cable in 14 years. All three parts of the hit, scripted event rank as the top three entertainment telecasts of all time in ad supported cable history among total viewers.
Only just getting to the 3rd part. I really enjoyed this. Doesn't touch somethine liek Band of Brothers, or Generation Kill, but I'm hoping its popularity will lead to more historical mini-series in the future.
Well both of those you listed were HBO and that is a entirely different league of budgets
I'm hoping between this, Django, True Grit and RDR that the Western is finally stepping back into the ring.
Quoting myself because I just saw this article:

God I hope so.
