Have You Ever Accidentally Bought a Game You Were Teetering on?

I am not talking about little Billy coming over and downloading a groillion games linked to your credit card; I am talking about begin on the checkout page or similar, reading info or something, and then accidentally making the purchase. I ask because it literally happened to me just now. Surely it's happened to others, right? Did you regret it, or did you saw "phew, at least it's good"?

Never truly accidentally hit buy, nope. Ill never get to the last screen before im indecisive. By that i mean by the time i get to the checkout page i KNOW i want it

I've sat at the checkout and talked myself out of a purchase many times, but I've never accidentally hit the button, at least that I can remember. If I was that close to purchasing it anyway, I doubt I would be too upset by it if it did happen.

No I've never hit the button accidentally. I have hit the button and regretted doing so straight away, but I still meant to do it.

No. There are a lot of "are you sure you want to make this purchase" messages that stop you from buying it.

Yeah, on the 3DS, all the info size-wise and the nitty-gritty is on the last page, and my stylus accidentally fell and hit it.

Remember when the new PSN store came out and it had like six or seven screens you had to go through before making a purchase?

That actually deterred me from buying at least 3 games. I just went on my computer and bought the game on xbox.com or on steam

unless youve got that one touch thing on the amazon app enabled i dont see how this could possibly happen. someone done goofed.

How the fuck do you accidentally buy shit? Do you black out or something? Have a temporary laspe in consciousness? I mean... What?

If you don't mind telling, what was the game?

And I don't think this has ever happened to me, although I have bought games and completely forgot I owned them (Usually the case with the early access Steam stuff)

I saw this Yakuza steel box with game and I almost bought it (as in, I was giving money out to the counter) right as I realized it was for Yakuza 4, not Yakuza 3 (I already own Yakuza 4 and the steel box w/game wasn't particularly cheap either). That was too close...

I had Duke Nukem Forever in my shopping cart on Steam and was having second thoughts so I went to go make a drink and check up on dinner. Unfortunately I'd left the kitchen knife facing the wrong way in the dish rack and accidentally stabbed my palm on it, and as I flinched, my hand toppled the bowl of vinegar oil and then since I was a little clumsy as I was backpedaling my other hand grabbed the oven door and yanked it open. While recoiling from the sudden burst of heat I stepped on a skate my little brother had left lying around, got oil all over me and instantly was set aflame because of the heat, so went skidding out of the kitchen in flames screaming like a demon out of hell all the way back to where my computer was and I hit the computer table head first.

Then the computer monitor fell over and the corner hit the left mouse button, completing the purchase.

This is the only reason Duke Nukem Forever is in my Steam library.

I accidentally bought Tropical Freeze. Realized how big the game was but it was too late; the purchase went through. And of course Nintendo doesn't do immediate refunds for my stupid mistake.

Best mistake though.

My stylus fell out of my mouth, it's as simple as that.

Didn't taste good? :/

I've never done that though. From the title, I actually thought you meant have you just looked at a game, and pondered if you were going to buy it. Later, you bought it and thought, "I didn't wanna do that though."

Attack Of The Friday Monsters

That's a good game. I just finished it the other day. It's very charming, if a bit slow. I would wait to play it till you're really in the mood for something like that. It's definitely more about story and exploration that outright "gameplay."
