I suppose that was his name. He was demonstrating the game and I discussed some things with him about the game and the ps3 in general. Really cool guy.
 
HS being a launch title would make my day. Honestly there's not a single game I really want from the PS3 launch (unless Oblivion PS3 stuff is true and Lair does make it) and HS looks amazing and probably plays amazing.

I was initially going to get a PS3 and play FFXII on it until a hot PS3 came my way but with HS at launch I may get a PS3 game after all!

And Im very happy to see new PS3 stuff. I honestly can wait to see what Sony has in store for their July event.

Theres quite a few at the jeuxfrance site.
I think its because landscape has a much more wow factor.

Nah, both of these games look so good there's enough love to go around. I like how the new enviornment shot lokes very painterly. Great stuff.

meh. i really like lots of the concept art for the settings, i.e. the temples and the extensive use of lush shades of green, but the setting used in the E3 demo looked barffels nd the character designs make me say bleh. but all opinion of course.

I'm waiting to see what they actually produce from some of these drawings as they certainly have a great starting point. :)

Holy shit at the environments. If all of those make it into the game at the same quality as the realtime stuff we've been seeing from NT then I think this game is going to have some of the most gorgeous levels ever.

God of War's stages (for the most part) are pretty confined, compared to something like Dragon Quest 8, Oblivion, or Zelda Ocarina of Time.

3rd picture is art, 2nd picture isn't cleaned up, it's just benefitting from being downsized from whatever the native resolution is (probably 720p).

errr... posted earlier quotes and link to SCEE saying it was 2007 and many people (including some posting in this thread) have said they were told Spring 2007, which is later than the Q1 2007 i have been hearing.
 
The game never was set as a launch title. There were 2 games that had previously been said to be PS3 launch titles and those are Warhawk and Lair. HS was just speculation on some peoples part because of they seemed to be one of the teams further along in development. The only time NT has really officially talked about it is when they said it'll be out early 2007.
 
Holy shit @ the artwork. It's completely awesome! Even the characters.

God i wish a game would look "painted" like those someday...
