I'd rent both. Personally I'm still for AC. Despite all the criticism, I still really want to play AC for its settings and concept, it just intrigues me unlike any other game this holiday. Ordered it just an hour ago.

No, the PS3 version of AC is great. There's occasional tearing, but it's really good. I prefer the controls on the PS3 version, actually.

20 + hours into AC 360, 1 bug where I couldn't get up. Pretty damned polished if you ask me. Gorgeous world. Can't speak for Uncharted since it's not out yet.

Someone post a screencap of their hdtv with one of the million incredible AC shots to be found in the game. Seriously id make my wagers that AC > Uncharted when it comes to the visual presentation. At least thats under the assumption that ps3 version is comparable to the 360 one that im playing.

PS3 version has texture pop-ins and a shittier frame rate.

I wouldn't support the sales of a shit port, get Uncharted.

It's a great game only to be found on the PS3, and it's really hard to troll since pics, vids, and people's experiences uncover the trolls faster than any game ever has before. I haven't had a single bug yet in Uncharted, while A.Creed I've dealt with numerous.

I'm having the same problem I want both games. I know without a doubt that I'll be happy with Uncharted since the demo looked crazy on my tv. AC has had mixed reviews but I really want this game. The last game I purchased that had mixed reviews was Lair so I'm gonna learn from my mistakes and just get Uncharted and rent AC.. I suggest you do the same.

I just ordered my copy of Uncharted from Canada, hopefully will be here next week sometime. I don't know whether to anticipate Assassin's Creed as another (somewhat) over-praised pile of Ubisoft crap, or a divisively unique game that borrows from such greats as SotC and Another World. Guess I'll have to find some place that'll be renting it, or wait for the price to drop.

Alright, so I was all gung-ho about picking up Uncharted after the awesome demo and positive buzz, but the more I think about it, I'm starting think that Assassin's Creed has the style of gameplay i'm more interested in. But my 360 is dead (and my hopes of playing Mass Effect) and I don't feel like trading for or buying another one right now (maybe Boxing Day?) so i'm kind of stuck being a PS3-only gamer right now... so i'm wondering what kind of shape the PS3 port of Assassin's Creed is in? If the port quality isn't very good i'll go for Uncharted.

Go with Uncharted, by far the best game on the PS3 rawr.
