That's a pretty damn good mix, if that's what the dog actually is. Should be pretty trainable.

He already potties outside, lol. Granted I have been taking him out every 1.5-2 hours, except last night, he slept in our bed from ~Midnight to 6:00am. We know the dad was a boxer and the mom was a Australian Shepherd Lab mix. From what I gathered, the mom is always kept outside on a leash next to one of those Dogloos. Then one day the owner walked outside and the male boxer had spent the night in there with her and then on Feb 25th they had a litter and this little guy was born!

I suggest Shepherd. For a few reasons. First I have always heard that two syllables is good for pet names because it helps identify them and they respond better to them. Second the dog is part shepherd. Third Mass Effect!
