I've just got the uncharted bundle and the PS4 is stuck on 'please wait' when trying to connect to PSN. I've checked online and this seems to be a wide spread issue. Anyone know what's up?

PSN has been weird for the last two days. You just picked a bad time.

So, literally waiting is the answer.

PSN was giving me grief last night. Usually doesn't, so I suspect its just a lot of people trying to download stuff because of sales. All those patches for those new boxes. Even if you buy a physical copy usually today there is still a big ole patch when you first install it.

If it cuts out a few times, it is just that PSN is having a bad time with the Thanksgiving load.

Don't worry about it, heh. We remember it from launch when tons of us were trying to connect all at the same time the first day anxious to play lol.

Dude, same experience. I just got the ps4 Uncharted bundle and I've been getting please wait for the longest. Can't connect to psn, I had to dl and install the firmware via usb. I left it at please wait for 30 minutes thinking it was downloading. Went to the download section and it said there was an error. Why not tell me the fucking error while I was waiting? In order to install the update via, I was searching frantically for the usb section of the ps4 like on ps3 for 15 minutes before giving up. Turns out, you need to put your ps4 in SAFE MODE, fucking SAFE MODE, to install via usb.

So far my ps4 experience is AWFUL.

The interface is cumbersome and lacks information. You have to fiddle with EVERYTHING just to get a fucking update.

So far, funnily, this experience is less user friendly than modern pc gaming.

The irony is thick, and my ps4 experience is shit.

And now I have to pay yearly for a service of this caliber?
