Henry Cavill to star in Voltron movie

Dude I tried defending and being charitable to his filming situation because The Rock fucked him over, but this so-called 'massive fanbase' doesn't seem to materialize when it matters. 🤷‍♂️

$3M weekend take is absolutely abysmal.

Yeah, on paper at least In the Grey should have had a decent run, but those kinds of films are really struggling at the BO these days. We'll see if it has a life when it goes to streaming.

Isn't this more because of Guy Ritchie who lost his mojo? I liked some of his latest movies but overall they all tanked hard. Enola Holmes was very successful tho, his cameo in Deadpool was talked over and over and his Highlander is quite anticipated. He just didn't had luck in the projects, that's for sure.

But what I meant was that saying his career is pretty much dead is a bit dramatic IMO. He took a break since he became a dad but wait for Highlander and Warhammer. Especially WH, this thing is gonna be MASSIVE.

If I'm wrong, point at all the massive successes he's been starring in over the last 5 years.

No shade, he's been more successful than 99% of actors.

I wasn't aware he had a kid. I thought his break was due to the whole Black Adam nonsense.

Good for him though! The world needs more Warhammer dads :)

I think he's got a decent career. He's maybe not the A-lister the people who fancast him in everything seem to think he is. But there's no shame in that. He seems to be getting regular work.
