I kinda like how Shinkenger handled it though. It was a desperate time/immediate action so there was little time for formalities. I like it when shows do it straight to the point.

It's always worth taking a peek at since you can never judge a Kamen Rider show by the first episodes.

It's fun so far though. Still didn't like TaToBa TaToBa TaToBa (the form with the mantis body was more interesting to me) or the opening. Eiji sounds much like a traditional hero though, which is a refreshing change since Wataru/Tsukasa/Shotaro streak.

Will definitely continue watching without any expectations as usual :lol

I didn't think I was going to feel OOO too much but the 1st episode won me over. We're in for a treat with it I think. Hopefully that hypothesis holds up.

The first trailer for Climax Heroes OOO dropped late last night and I gotta say I'm completely in love with it. I think the fighting game fan and the toku nerd in me will be satisfied with the final product.

Philip's resurrection didn't really have much use other than turning it into a happier ending. Shotaro had already become the protector of Futo, even being that kickass Kamen Rider Joker. Shotaro even got over Philip's disappearance during his last fight.

Thanks to that, that last scene in episode 47 (when Shotaro opened Philip's present) lost its meaning.

Just a bit of rant, but otherwise W is the best post-Hibiki Kamen Riders.

Well there are things called coincidences. Just because it resembles something doesn't mean it's a reference or homage. Maybe they just wanted a humanoid Pokemon that looks cool.

Not really. ryuki, kabuto, kiva, and decade are the only ones with dark riders, and i don't even know if decades is even canon

Well the original only cost $40, and that was due to it being an exclusive. It'll be less than that if this one is a regular release.

For their 35th anniversary Sentai, they are going to bring back older suits as power ups. I wonder how far are they going to reach for it.
