This man is dropping truth bombs. For anyone who is not used to the flavour it can literally taste like vomit. It is not pleasant. It's Ike drinking milk that has been left out in the sun until it starts to separate![]()
Wegmanns stocks them iirc . You can get Lindt at csv and Walmart . Those are the two I can remember of the top of my head ,You can buy Milka in the US at a bunch of places so its not a big deal
As a British man who has tried it twice, it tastes like actual vomit. Not as in just bad, but like puke in my mouth.
Yeah but the hyperbole. No. It tastes the same as vomit.
Give me Swiss or Italian chocolate any day of the week.
Man, American food products sound like nightmares.
American cheese.
Sweet bread (wtf).
And now vomit chocolate.
The funny thing is that the people that identify what they are calling the vomit taste aren't EXACTLY wrong.
What they are tasting is Butyric acid
So some people might just not like the taste or are too sensitive to the taste that they taste what they perceive to be vomit. My tongue is sensitive to the taste of peanuts (I was allergic), so I can taste it in Chocolate bars that have peanut product that got into them. At the end of the day you can't talk shit about "ha ha, you are eating vomit" if you partake of any fermented foods.
If you're saying this taste like crap you need to get your taste buds checked son...

White chocolate also sucks
American cheese has it's uses. It is not a proper cheese good for sandwiches, but they melt real good on a burger for a little flavour. Hershey's I have to assume is due to the brand. An entire country cannot make chocolate that tastes like that. There must be alternatives similar to cadburys.
Ritter Sport is on sale this week at my grocery store. Any flavor recommendations? The butter wafer one sounded weird.
Not to turn the conversation away from chocolate, but I've always wondered why a country would want to put it's name to such a shitty cheese. I mean, if you're going to put your nations name on it, at least make it not plastic goo.
I visited a friend in Switzerland and I've never eaten so good sweet wise. They had some Nesquik type powder that was way better than Nesquik, a legit chocolate spread for toast and such, and an extra milk recipe chocolate bar that I would die to get in the States.
So good.

Because too many people think Hershey's is good because they trust advertising more than their own experiences? This right here is why Trump won
I'm pretty sure this thread gets made every 2 months
quick, someone talk up Cadbury and then scream about America ruining it
I mean, one has milk as the key ingredient, the other has sugar.I'm pretty sure this thread gets made every 2 months

They taste amazing!
For people who don't like it, what the hell do you use on smores?
We did it, guys. We showed that people can be elitist about something as benign as chocolate.

Next time you guys go to IKEA, you get yourselves one of these and never look back:

The best. God tier chocolate.
The best. God tier chocolate.
Dairy Milk is the UK Hersheys, but without the vomit taste.
It is a higher quality and doesn't have the vomit taste which makes a big difference. It is the same in that it is the most popular in their respective countries and cheap.

They both started out based on the exact same recipe, and I believe that these days they are actually literally the same chocolate that's simply molded differently. No where near as good as:
