Dark Souls 3 with a heavy bloodborne influence. Make crossbows work like guns, impliment the new dodge system, etc. Get rid of weight and replace it with armor weight classes.
Yeah I want DS3. Like the setting much more.. plus Id be able to run it better on PC.Dark Souls 3 is already in development.
I also prefer the setting.

Youkai have a lot of potential as enemies; I'd love to see From tackle them.
Some specific ones I'd like to see...
- Oni: This one's obvious, but they would make great mini-bosses like the Black Knights of Dark Souls. They would wield a variety of weapons, with the iron club Oni being the strongest. Later in the game they'll begin appearing in pairs of red and blue Oni. Also, the iron club weapon dropped by them would be one of the best in the game, but would require a ridiculously high Strength to use.
- Futakuchi-onna: perhaps they would start out sitting down looking like normal women, but the moment you try to approach one from behind, she lunges for you with the mouth on her head and begins to crawl after you on her back.
- Tsukumogami: The next evolution of the mimic, these guys would imitate anything from weapons to background scenery to treasure on the ground, attacking you when you get close for a surprise.
- Ashiaraiyashiki: These giant feet would appear in houses you're exploring and begin yelling something incomprehensible. You would have maybe ten seconds to leave or splash the foot with water; if you fail to fulfill the request or leave the house, the foot will begin aggressively trying to stomp you. If you fulfill the request, you get some kind of treasure and the foot will stomp invaders who come into the house.

Doesn't matter what it's called, just get Miyazaki to Direct it.
Spaceborne
Eh, I hope that's a joke.I'm curious how many of the people saying only DS3 have even played Bloodborne
My guess: not many!![]()
Dark Souls 3 - XboxOne PS4 Steam
Bloodborne 2 - XboxOne PS4 Steam
I don't care as long as Miyazaki directs.
For me personally... I'd go with Dark Souls 3.
It's impossible to say with any certainty which game in any of the lineage is 'better' than the others, I really do think it's a matter of taste. Since all are so uniquely special in design.
That said for me, I think Bloodborne does one thing and does that one thing REALLY well.
It's the most accessible of any of the games, as it takes a lot of choice away from the player.
The combat system is so tightly designed to be played in one specific way.
You have to be close and aggressive and fast... and the loop is designed around perfecting this form of engagement.
I prefer the choice Dark Souls offers you.
The game has a wider engagement philosophy... you can be swift and aggressive, you can tank and play defensive, you can range and be nimble. Player discretion has a bigger role in combat.
What BB'd style allows for is a tighter experience and (arguably) better pacing as the designers know how each combatants would tackle a given situation so only have to balance it to 1 play style, which makes the whole package feel more cohesive.
But to me, I like the player-first mentality of Dark Souls. Letting me craft the game for how I like to approach encounters.
Also with Bloodborne due to that cohesive and accessible design mentality, you have a world that is beautiful and intelligent designed but far more singular in focus. I miss the diverse and often random/chaotic environments of Dark Souls. Having player choice in the design allows for more experimentation in design as you can account for range players and then enhance or handicap those playstyles in your world design. Where as Bloodborne only has to focus on the 1.
I'd really like to see both continue separately, there's something more visceral about BB you don't get in Dark Souls (plus it's easier to understand mechanically... near unlimited healing items helps!) that I'd like to see explored, but not at the expense of what Dark Souls offers, which I feel can go in a lot more directions than BB can at this point.
