The reason people are upset?
Because they can't prove the person with the haircut DIDN'T choose it because they admire Hitler. Or on a post-punk, ironic take on Hitler's hair in order to be edgy.
So the people against the haircut are like "omg, it looks nice, but what if? WHAT IF? I can't say a haircut looks nice if the wearer IS A NAZI!"
Because they can't prove the person with the haircut DIDN'T choose it because they admire Hitler. Or on a post-punk, ironic take on Hitler's hair in order to be edgy.

I actually have a similar cut. Dunno the specific name but you basically tell the hairdresser you want it long in the middle and short on the sides. Obviously I didn't get a fade on the sides, but my sides are much shorter than the front. It's the same cut you get for faux hawks/mohawks, you're just seeing it when it's down and not styled very well.

Been rocking this since February and loving it; I get tons of compliments from men and women, young and old. Maybe it's just my type of hair, but I've found it extremely easy to do yourself -- just be fairly rigid with the line between the shave and where the longer hair starts, and the rest can be really casual (if you're cutting the top portion at all) since that works well either tossled like in the OP or more slicked down like in some of the other photos.
Definitely had a good laugh, though, from the people saying things like, "oh, we'd laugh at yew in mah town!" and basically decrying anyone who doesn't have completely boring Mastercuts hair. Keep fighting the good fight, guys... Yikes.

Has anyone ever even gotten any flak in real life for getting this haircut (meaning has anyone been teased for getting a nazi cut or something)? Because honestly I doubt people even care anymore, this type of haircut is pretty common around the world (perhaps a bit shorter middle though); for example when I was a kid in Pakistan i would basically get the same thing, but there it was called the "young boys" or "soldier" cut.

That bus has the 'DE LIJN' bus color scheme and look inside, and he has an ALDI bag.
It's only the shaven sides that make it look like a hitler youth haircut.
A few years ago it seemed that the 70s style long haircuts for men were coming back (which I liked), but by now that idea has been taken up the ass repeatedly and turned into the bieber and other weird style hair.
Now I can no longer rock my 70s show haircut without fearing that eventually on a bad hair day some asshole will compare it to bieber hair.

looks good man! And yes i decided to get a "professional" person to do the cut for me the first time at least. But i guess you have to rework it often right?
