Hitman 3 VR Annoucement Trailer

Kermit The Frog Reaction GIF

I want this.

Yeah seems like this is done really well if you bother to read the actual instructions. I've seen a couple of vids where they're didn't even bother with controller instructions.

and lol

So does PSVR in general kinda slap or is it shite? I've never tried VR and I'm still trying to decide if I should just wait for a newer model or something.

It's actually pretty decent but I would wait. It's got some really big releases that are well done. It runs some games surprisingly well too. If you're never tried VR, it would probably blow your mind how immersive it is at "putting you inside a videogame."

Quest 2 is a great option now for $300.

psvr was unstoppable back in 2018 with its releases. But in the following year, Quest happened and psvr less than stellar dated tech became very obvious.

But the games, man. Unless you have a pc, psvr is your only choice for quality VR gaming - it's the same difference between old Wii vs PS3, casual gaming vs hardcore gaming... between dated tech and no great games I prefer the former

at this point, you should just wait: either for Hitman 3 VR hit pc or for psvr2 get announced...

"Hitman VR is a top notch virtual reality experience, sure it's scrappy and clumsy at times but when it hits its mark you can easily lose yourself inside it for hours at a time. Its wonderfully detailed sandbox levels provide countless opportunities for experimentation and this freedom only accentuates the immersive nature of the gameplay, letting you truly feel like you are a part of the game world IO has created. Don't turn your nose up at it just because it's on PSVR or just because you can't use twin Move controllers, because you're missing out on something special if you have the means to play it but are holding off due to those reasons."

it's downright the best game ever on psvr

indie games have limited gameplay, content, length and graphics and most ports were from PS3 games or with PS3-grade graphics: Skyrim, Borderlands 2, LA Noire, etc. Only RE7, Doom VFR and Hitman really brought actual current generation graphics to PS4 in VR. And Hitman's entire trilogy spanning 3 whole games in so many different and detailed environments is so much bigger than both.

yesterday there were some server issues so I went to just fool around a bit and man, I had an amazing shotgun rush in Miami, ds4 tracking is decidedly working just fine:

my only real criticism for this port is that Camera Grid in the Settings is not working at all and that VR cage is always visible. Can't wait for a fix.

IGN Review's VR portion is just... *facepalms*

His main complaint was the shooting, meanwhile I just watched a guy mow down an entire platoon of enemies with a higher degree of accuracy than the normal game, not to mention blind firing and leaning around corners.

There will be aggressive speed runners in VR that smoke flat mode.

Ign is dumb, you can just tell with their shooting clip they didn't do the tutorial or pay attention.

I've been hearing several PC VR youtubers I follow bragging on the game. Seems it really punches above its weight for a console, especially an old one.

I bought this last night and I'm having a fucking blast. I decided to play hitman 1 and 2 on PSVR and wait a while to see if it comes to PCVR for part 3. If not, I'll just finish the PSVR version. I don't mind double dipping for VR.

The game is absolutely incredible looking, and not considering the hardware, just in general. There are compromises, but they're the exact ones I would have chosen.

Anyway lol

it's so damn great

I only played the tutorial mission and fooled around in 2 gorgeous locations. I'm not moving my camera an inch just to get rid of the VR camera grid when all other psvr games work fine with it as is, so I'm only properly playing it when they have an option to turn it off.

but just walking around those locations in casual difficulty, it's so damn gorgeous. It obviously would run much better and higher resolution and less pop in on pcvr, but as is it's already the best looking game ever on psvr, no small feat
