Poor, victimised america for the umpteenth time
That was an awful video. Especially that voice.
This game has no multiplayer, at least that's what they originally said years back...I find it hard to get excited for any kind of campaign here but the multiplayer in the first game wasn't too bad, so I'm atleast interested in seeing that
I don't usually get turned off by the politics of ridiculous military blockbusters like CoD or Battlefield, but this is basically "NRA Wet Dream: The Game", and it looks like it's taking itself completely seriously.
You call that Philadelphia mate? Nah mate, this is Philadelphia...

There is not a single piece of Korean writing in that trailer, which for me is not really a good sign. I am not american (hell, I go on business trips to Korea more often than the states), but I think this strong element of something "foreign" in a domestic landscape helps strengthening the feeling of occupation. It can also be used in much more clever ways like in Crysis, where enemies spoke Korean on higher difficulties, which made it harder to understand their leaders' commands / tactics.
Then again, maybe it is just the trailer.
What the hell is that.
If it ain't a brick of original, get outta my face with that shit.
Looks like Killzone 3 meets Infamous Second Son.

Could be this years dying light. Has sleeper hit written all over it IMO.
However, Techland made both Dead Island and Dying Light.A surprisingly on-point parallel.
Techland: release a turd with amazing marketing (Dead Island) which sells like hotcakes, enabling them to release a truly great game (Dying Light)
These guys: release a turd with amazing marketing (Homefront) which sells like hotcakes, enabling them to release a truly great (?) game (HF: Revolution)
The only part i'm not sure about is exactly how hotcake-like Homefront sold.

Nice to see so many people from Philly on here.
This takes place in Kensington, right?![]()
How do games like this get the "green light"? I honestly feel bad for the developers.
The game itself is a cool concept and looks like fun. IGN had gameplay at Gamescom that looked intriguing.
If you're really asking, "How do trailers like this get the green light?" Well...that's a different question. One I don't have the answer to.
EDIT: Also, the Gamescom trailer was awesome.
However, Techland made both Dead Island and Dying Light.
With Homefront, the first one was Kaos Studios and now Deep Silver Dambuster (aka Crytek UK aka Free Radical).
Also, Deep SIlver published that Dead Island 1 game and they are publishing this...
Homefront 1 sold more like lukewarm biscuits than hotcakes. Plus, it was from a different developer, so it's not entirely analogous.
Am I the only person who see that we fight the Koreans in the "Yellow Zone"...smh? *sigh* -__-
Thats my thoughts but Ill probably redbox it if availableThat's the trailer of a 6/10 game that will be completely forgotten about within 2 weeks of release.
