Mine arrived today as well, there's no pics I could post that haven't shown off what everyone hasn't already though. I got the shipping email four days ago so it shouldn't take too long for everyone else.
 
Anybody that is getting their special edition shipped to Germany, has your package moved in the past 5 days? My tracking says it hasn't, its been stuck in Anaheim CA since the 3rd as arrived at processing centre.

Just pre-ordered, i couldnt help myself. Gonna replay the first game now so that i'm all prepared for 2. I've also been pretty much on a blackout on this game, (not that watching the game is very spoilery) but i just want it all to be fresh when i play it. Heard the overhauled the way masks works too, so im pumped.
 
I know independent games get a bad rep from some communities compared to AAA games, but Hotline Maimi 2 is on the same level of anticipation for me like MGSV and Uncharted 4. I have to give PS Plus some credit, I likely would not even heard of this game if I wasn't for the free download of Hotline Miami.

May I ask when you guys/gals ordered it and which shipping method you chose?

I ordered it yesterday (a Saturday) and I was wondering how long it should take +-.

Mine is going to ship at the end of March, since it's an order from the second batch. Doesn't matter since I'm going to play the game on my PS4 anyway. Just need that sweet sweet vinyl.
 
Have the trophies/steam achievements popped up anywhere? The first HM was a really fun plat trophy to get so I was just curious to see what this one would be like.

Ordered 31st of December, it shipped on the 27th of February and so far its been 9 days in the making.

So no pre-loading or what? I want to play this game as much as possible and will probably be tight on free time so I'd really like to be able to download this onto my PS4 ASAP.

I'm starting my new job tomorrow but they gave us all tuesday off to learn some shit at home. LOL gonna be playing Hotline all day son.
 
I'm going to get this for the level editor alone. Prepare for my greatness Steam Workshop. Warning! I have made terrible electronic music in the past :P

So will the PSN store get updated on a Tuesday then? Since in Europe it usually updates on wednesday.

I don't know how this works.
 
How was the gameplay of the first one on console. I only played it with keyboard and mouse and found it particularly accurate. Is it as precise with gamepad?
I'm thinking of getting on console this time around.

I was actually wondering the same. But instead of reinstalling it on PC and plugging in my DS4, I just bought it on PSN to try it out. It works pretty well not gonna lie. I don't think it's as accurate but it's still implemented very well.

I found myself using the lock on more that's for sure. I didn't even use that on PC, not sure I knew about it or paid attention.

I thought it worked totally fine. I originally played it on pC and had no issues playing it on PS3/Vita when it came out there.
 
Vita is best by a long shot, Dennis Wedin said the same to me too. The layout just works really well. PC is fine though and it's what I'll be using.
 
I never touched the mkb controls for this game, even on the PC version, because it controls and plays perfectly with a controller.

Edit: the Vita's control scheme was lacking though, IMO. The touch screen lock-on isn't fast enough to allow me to play the way I do on PC and PS3/4.
 
Doesn't seem like it's coming out tomorrow in Europe. Word on the street is saying 11th of March for Europe, which makes sense, seeing as PSN always updates on wednesday.
 
Not the best packaging that I've seen for trifolds, but it sounds nice. Ended up giving the code to a friend and I'll be buying everything again on Tuesday.
 
Nearly finished with my first ever playthrough of the original game. I can only take a couple levels at a time since the game makes me so frustrated, but it's so damn satisfying to finally clear a level.

Super excited for the sequel, and it's great to see it launching on PC and console simultaneously.

Use a US account and buy credit through Amazon. You'll be able to play on your AU PS4 account once you start the download through the US account.

No dice with Vita though. Fairly certain UK codes don't work on AU Vita accounts, some EU countries do though.
 
So, I haven't seen anything about this game OST. I fcking hope there's some Perturbator and M|O|O|N in it.


And that edition. Makes me sad I can't buy one :(
