People always talk about Dr. Doom and how he is one of, if not the, most badass mofos in the marvel universe, but what are his greatest feats? I know he resisted Purple Man's telepathy by sheer will, and his will is always touted as one of the strongest in the world, so what are some of his other feats?

So how powerful is doom?

Doom's awesomeness comes down to a few things.

His name ("Doom" is a great name for a villain. And making it alliterative by using the title of "Doctor" works well.)

His stature (he already has his own country.)

His look (he was Darth Vader before Darth Vader).

His over the top personality leads to him dominating whatever story he is in, whether its meant to be comedic or serious, no matter what other characters may or may not appear in said story.

Basically, he's a very successful comic book character. That the movies so far have failed to really drive home the greatness of Doom are a failure on their parts.
