how can people be so oblivious to their BO?

Haha, pussies. I used to work retail in Amish country.

You know... in the summer... with no air conditioning, fans or running water... in black horse-drawn carriages for a few hours to get from their farms to the store... wearing heavy clothing from neck to toe?

Seriously, they were the worst, worse than the worst of the fat unhygienic white trash (of which I encountered plenty of too). You'd walk through their funk-wake like 10 minutes after they had passed and it'd be like sticking your head in a hot trash bag of full of spoiled, salty meat. If they actually walked by you, you could taste them.

ugh i hate those body sprays.

Almost as much as musty ass people. Shit smells like someone sat on a bag of cinnamon and farted in my face. It's like no matter what type of man spray you use it smells exactly the same to me.

I've had women tell me my natural body odor after playing sports smells sweet, and not sickly sweet like old soda but "like cookies". weird

Rofl I actually sniffed myself but I'm good. I highly recommend this shit to everyone. Only deodorant that actually lasts and I can smell, get compliments all the time.

Good hygiene is the best hygiene yo. Axe Body Spray "Dark Temptation" is also especially good smelling imo

And telling someone they stink shouldn't be an embarrassing socially awkward conversation.

If I was stinking out some place I would sure as shit appreciate it if someone told me so. Shit I even actually ask those around me if I smell (so far so good).

I am extremely blunt about bad BO. I mean I try not to say it in a way that seems mean even if I feel mean, but they always end up offended anyway. Some of the time they are so flustered they just literally throw back when I said to me without any merit.

"oh yeah well it's not like you don't smell too!" And then everyone stares at him, sniffs my resplendent form, and giggles amongst ourselves at his pitiable state of hygienic deficiency.

Casp0r said:
However as bad as BO is ... do any of you know anyone that stinks of damp moldy clothing constantly? It's almost worst, since BO only becomes apparent when someone takes their heavy coat off ... having the coat be the problem makes that person stink 24/7. Makes me physically sick.

Oh dude that's the worst. Like the motherfucker has let the fungus grow right on his nuts or some shit. Little wafting dampness. The worst thing is when it gets to that stage nothing sticks to furniture worse. It is fucking impossible to remove the smell without serious fucking cleaning supplies.

My BO smells fucking terrible, but there's nothing I can do about it. Finally I said "fuck it" and now I only shower every 2-3 days. My BO isn't any worse after 2 days than it is after 4 hours. I was born with overactive apocrine glands, deal with it.

Also, when my sweat mixes with certain synthetic fabrics it smells way worse.

Ew. Shower just to stay clean at least.

Wtf are you talking about? How do you even know to make that comparison >_>

Missed this earlier, you realize NOT showering isn't going to help it right? You could try reapplying strong antiperspirant if you really are just sweaty.

Yeah for real. I don't have super smelly BO but I still shower once a day at the minimum. I think everyone should shower at least once a day. Just get some good deodorant and you're set.

Deodorant barely even works in the first place. Anything that you could even conceivably think of, I've tried. Not showering barely makes a difference until it gets to 3 days.

I'm just lucky that I'm so damn sexy that my smell hardly matters.

But that's just nasty man. Who knows what kind of bacteria grows on your body in all that time you don't shower.

What did the doctor tell you?

Not really. Especially in the winter. The human body hasn't adapted to daily bathing, and it causes a host of health and skin issues.

Gave me a prescription strength anti-perspirant, which only mitigated the problem somewhat, being that anti-perspirants only work on eccrine glands.

How often do you wash/shampoo your hair? that might be a problem too, especially if it's long.

NEVER. My hair is not the problem. My hair feels and looks cool and smells neutral.

Never washing your hair? Not showering 3 days at a time with an odor problem? Yeah you're fucking up.

Somebody is either a complete retard, or failed to fully read my posts in this thread. Either way, yeah, you're fucking up.

What is your resistance towards taking showers? If I smelled good for a week I'd still be taking showers at least once a day. Feels good man. Don't you start to feel nasty after a day of sweat and oil build up?

If I were you, instead of going in the wrong direction and not taking showers for 3 days because you'll smell like shit anyway, I'd be taking showers every 4 hours or whenever I possibly could squeeze one in.

All you that are willing to tell people that they stink to their face need to visit this current thread.

I don't use soap or shampoo and am proud of it like those parents that don't get vaccination shots for their kids.

Seriously, is soap too much a social commitment. Do they think it's just a conspiracy that's existed for thousands of years. Soap, the art stick of civilization!

For getting rid of stink, super hot water is better than warm water w/soap. If I could stand super hot water I'd probably be doing that. I'm sure most of the people in that thread are doing it wrong though. Also, if you haven't tried it, don't knock it.

That's way too much of a waste of time, and it's not good for your skin.

No I get it, "nothing" worked for you. Doesn't change the fact that you are fine with being a dirty person.

I have better feeling and less problematic skin and hair than you do. My bodies largest organ functions in a way that is closer to how evolutionary adaptation dictates that it should. My body, as a machine, does what it was designed over millions of years to do. All things being equal, I have more spending money than you too.

Have fun bragging about nothing much on the internet though while white women tell me that my "dirty" skin and hair feel great.

What are you even talking about? We desperately need smiles back.

:lol

Are Amish people allowed to use deodorant? I live in northern Indiana near one of the largest concentrations of Amish in the country, and I frequently notice body odor on some of them out in public.

Ugh, most of the people that I've come in contact with that have had BO that have either smelled like onions or old cheese. You can't get within 10 feet of them. I honestly don't understand how people could willingly go out in public smelling like that. Homeless People? Fine. People who are exercising? Fine, but if you're working checkout at a clothing store I shouldn't have to get an idea of what you might taste like while you're ringing up my things. Get some deodorant. It's not expensive.

Boy do I have a terrible story about bad body odor...

A lady at a job I once had was fired because of how bad she smelled once... she walked out bawling and we found out later that she said "what do you want me to do about it - I've tried everything, I can't help it, my skin is rotting". Yeh... gross!! She was a bit over weight, apparently she had a problem with rotting skin in the fold... GROSS!!!!!

I'm not sone fat ass guy that sweats just by walking, plus I work in a air conditioned office environment. That's why I shower every 2-3 days.

I 300% guarantee that this lasts longer and is more effective, and it smells too:

mitchum7dra.jpg

Of course if you want to smell like something, I'd go with the unscented variety, and get a nice cologne that will smell better than any deodorant.

Even if you don't have time for a full shower, you can prevent most odor by washing:

1) Ass
2) Crotch
3) Armpits
4) Feet

All four should be washed every day, but #1 is the most essential. Ideally, you should try to drop your deuces in the morning just before your shower. That way you're mostly clean all day. This also enables you to get more use out of your trousers.

Also, I'll take a dude who smells like sweat over a dude who smells like duck butter any day. One time in college, this guy came to one of our parties. He must have not washed his ass in days, because when he left, the couch just smelled god-awful. Febreze was ineffective, and there was nothing for it but to flip the couch cushions over.

i don't get why people wouldn't take a bath or shower every day even if there was no such thing as sense of smell. it's not exactly an unpleasant ritual!

Slightly off-topic:

Does anyone know which brick & mortar store I can find this deodorant at?

Or if you know of any other aluminum free deodorant brand I can easily find, that'll work too.

I use this for cologne in conjunction with the deodorant:

For body wash I get old spice swagger, after hours, fiji, basically anything old spice. The Axe dark temptation smells fresh as fuck as well.

I don't understand some of you guys and how you don't like to keep your hygiene maintained. I'm not even good looking but I get tons of attention from women due to the cologne and shit. Ask any girl number 1 turnoff is hygiene. Even if you don't smell from not showering it's still healthy to shower at least once a day. My friend said he got a fungus in his crotch area and the doctor asked him how much he showers. My friend said about once every two days. The doc recommended to shower at least once a day since the sweat builds up and fungi love sweat...

I'm kind of passive agressive about it. If someone in the area stinks I will announce this fact to whoever I am with. "Oh, man, someone needs a fucking bath." Not quietly, either, I want to be overheard. I've gotten people kicked out of places for stinking the place up. If someone can't be bothered to keep their raunch under control, they do not belong in a civilized society and should stay home.

I got a few little sampler deoderants the other day. Maybe I should carry them around with me and throw them at gross people.

I thought the no soap and shampoo thread was kinda strange but at least those people washed themselves. Now we got guys in here saying they dont need to shower for consecutive days?? For fucks sake, it takes no longer than 5 min to rinse yourself off even if you hate cleaning yourself. Forever alone suddenly makes sense.

Yes exactly!

There was a guy who lived on dorm floor one year, who would take 30 second showers without using soap.

One night he smelled so bad his roommate chose to sleep in the lounge rather than his room.

I just don't understand why there are people out there who can't take the time time to shower?!

Seriously showers are one of the simplest pleasures in life and for someone to deprive themselves of that is just insane.
