Always used to just find a mosh pit.

Most ridiculous thing I ever saw was a mosh pit at an All American Rejects show.

Still got in it though.

well if you go to an industrial rock concert, make sure you practice the cybergoth dance

I was dating this goth chick and she kept talking about dancing at goth clubs and I was like "How the fuck would you even do that?"

She sent me a YouTube link and it's just like a spooky version of "The Robot". Why even bother? That's fucking lame.

What goth clubs? I wanna go to a goth club.

Rock is such a diverse genre, with all songs having different basslines, drums and tempos it's impossible to have one dance to cover all.

That said, if you just want to fit in the first move you should learn is the one where you take your shirt off and run as fast as you can into a bouncer.

As soon as I saw the title I knew this thread would be incredible. Thank you, GAF.

Real answer, you don't "dance" to rock music. You feel the music and do whatever the fuck you want. Jumping, pushing and bodychecking may be involved depending on what rock music we're talking about.

Just move your body in whichever feels good. You have to feel it. Don't be concerned with what it looks like. That's why people are afraid of dancing. Just feel it and don't give a fuck.

Headbanging, air guitar, jumping around, and generally going nuts is what I do when it comes to a lot of rock music. Rock Music certainly has a lot of energy, so moving around in general just makes you feel better, especially if it's stuff like Cheap Trick, The Ramones, and the like.

Other forms of Rock music I love I prefer to sit and absorb the music, but I love rock because you can get both.

I don't recall any of them were named, probably something like the factory or the castle or the craft shop or some shit.

she was from West Philadelphia, if that helps. If you don't think I didn't rap the Fresh Prince theme every time she mentioned she was from West Philly you've got another thing coming.

maybe that's why we *used* to date :-(
