I really don't get the logic of "just because a lot of people are laughing at it, doens't make it funny".
And who determines "crappy" taste anyway? You could call it crappy, if the production value was bad, but it's not, so it's subjective. You don't like it, a lot of other people do, deal with it. Life is so much more relaxing if you're not an elitist snob, trust me.

It's a funny show, thats kind of slapsticky in a way. Jim Parsons is a good actor, although his character seems to becoming more and more human and less and less like a robotic sheldon.

This show is beyond me, I have no idea how anyone finds it funny, but a hell of a lot of people do. Power to them I guess. It's the same with pretty much every reality show, millions love to watch them all day, every day, while I can't sit through a single episode.

I think most people opposed to it, myself included, are so because it so ridiculously popular and we find it so insufferably bad, meanwhile shows we do love tend to get far lower ratings or end up getting axed altogether. You can't help but feel like its a zero sum game where if one style show succeeds another style will suffer for it. That said I only tend to rip on the show with my friends and family who like it. Mostly though I try to just get them to watch other shows, rather than simply shit all over their bad ones.

All I'm saying is that in whatever medium the things that are typically extremely popular are usually not the most critically acclaimed. This is usually because for something to be that popular they must cater to the lowest common denominator.

I was actually impressed that he was playing the game on an emulator, ranting that it was poorly coded (which is somewhat true given how many visual/audio glitches there usually are on N64 emulators), with actual sounds from Mario 64 playing accurately. I'm so used to shows being non-specific (and frankly stereotypically ridiculous) about video games that that blew my mind. The fact checkers actually did their job if you ask me.
