I just realized that this video is wrong about Wolverine vs Superman.
He spends a lot of time scienceing the science of Wolverine's claws, and then he just dismisses Superman, because an obsidian blade can cut DNA, so it doesn't matter who or what Wolverine tries to cut, it will be cut.
But this was essentially already tested in the Superman universe. The animated TV DC universe even, which has an underpowered Superman compared to many representations.
In Justice League Unlimited, they mentioned that there was a time when Supergirl required surgery to save her life, but surgery was impossible, because Supergirl. The sharpness of a razor blade didn't even matter. Her doctors had to innovate, so they fashioned a kryptonite scalpel. Not enough kryptonite to poison and kill, but enough to temporarily release her superhuman resistance to knives in a localized area, enough to allow sharpened space-rock to cut tissue and perform operations.
Wolverine's claws ain't kryptonite = they ain't cutting Superman.
Fake edit: And the Nerdist's defense of ignoring the Superman part of the equation is laughable. He posts a pic of Superman nicking his finger on one of Wonder Woman's magical cut-anything swords, followed instantly by Wonder Woman commenting "You always were a bit vulnerable to magic."
