How is Your Gwent Collection Coming Along?

With Blood and Wine now out, my gwent collection has only become larger. The Skellige deck is not my preference, but it's actually really handy if you play it right. I have now collected all cards in the game. The good about gwent is it's fun; no matter how often I lost trying again never felt dull. (Getting those cards from the base game to satisfy the Collect 'Em All achievement was quite a grind, though!)

Did you ever manage to collect all the cards?

I started a new Deathmarch playthrough, i just got the Gwent trophy last night. Still need all of the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine cards.

Missed some in the base game since I wasn't switched on to Gwent until late in HoS believe it or not, where I began enjoying it a lot.

I need more practice with the Skellige deck since it's vulnerable to scorch and it relies more heavily on berserkers and double-strength units.

i platinum'd witcher 3. That should answer your question. Also collected the entirety of the new skellige deck.

Still working on collecting all the cards in the base game. I play a northern realms deck with foltest the siege master as my leader with a focus on spies and double power cards. (4x blue stripe commando with commanders horn is awesome lol). Of course the deck is weak to scorch or weather effects but being able to put out high numbers on all 3 levels of the field is worth the slight weakness

skellige deck has no faction spies and that's what i hate about it

Hah didnt know if you meant real world cards or in game cards

Have the xbox one CE gwent cards and just ordered a set from their store

Thought gwent was just ok at first, not sure what happened but I started loving the game and trying to find every gwent playing NPC in the game

I started over on Deathmarch when Blood and Wine came out. I'm working on it! Spies! Spies everywhere! And target dummies!

I collected all of the base game Gwent cards, I jumped into the DLC late. I'm about 3 hours into Hearts of Stone and have gotten about 5 of those new cards. Can't wait for the standalone Gwent game. Also ordered the physical cards but who knows when those will get here. I suspect they'll arrive after the beta for Gwent has begun.

I finished all the story beats a couple of nights ago and I'm thinking of going for the Gwent trophy (Geralt retirement tour. He gives up being a Witcher and just travels the land playing Gwent). Is it possible for me to get the Gwent trophy despite not having played a single game of Gwent throughout my main campaign playthrough? Or do I have to go and do new game +?

I believe you'll have to start a new game. You're locked out of collecting some cards needed for the achievement.
