So we know it'll exclusively on the PS4, but will we end up getting a PC version a year or two later? To me, it seems less likely than it was for Dark Souls 1 was, but I forget if a PC version was even known about when that game was announced.

Sony's Japan studio is co developer and Sony Computer Entertainment is publishing, so...

...0%?

I'd say about as likely as Uncharted 4 appearing on PC. It's a first party title, and as far as I know Sony hasn't released a first party title on a platform other than PlayStation.

Extremmmmmmmeeely unlikely!!! Unless sony just wanted to out of the kindness of their hearts, there is no chance it will show up on PC.

It's being published by Sony, isn't it? If that's the case: 0% chance

Perhaps I should do some research on my own, but can someone school me on the specifics behind Bloodborne's exclusivity? Yeah, Sony's publishing and FROM Software is developing. Namco published Dark Souls 1 and 2 right? What was the situation with Dark Souls?

Absolutely zero chance.

Seriously, the OT needs to be Bloodborne |OT| Are We Sure it's PS4 Exclusive?

How's Demon Souls on PC?

Dark Souls IP is owned by From themselves iirc. Namco only published it everywhere not named Japan. Sony is having Studio Japan to co-develop Bloodborne along with Sony owning the IP and funding it,

If the chance of it appearing on PC was the guy doing the taunt, and the fact Demon Souls never left PS3 is Mama Mushroom

Sony is paying for the game to be made and helping develop. They have no interest in helping PC sales, just sales for their console.

Not happening. Sony-owned IP, co-developed.

It's the same as expecting Mario to come to PC (emulators/flash knock-offs notwithstanding).

Sony is paying for development and the IP is Sony's.

Ryse and Dead Rising 3 are happening for different reasons. As someone else said, this is like Demon's Souls. Its locked down.

Now the salt would be awesome if it was ported, but it aint happening.

Pretty much zero, but I wouldn't rule out a Bloodborne inspired series in the future that is multiplatform. Sort of how Dark Souls went multi after Demon's Souls became a hit.

None at all, since it's most likely gonna be a Sony IP just like Demon's Souls. But that's why we have Dark Souls.

What precedent has there been for a game published by Sony who also helped developed the title [and I believe owns the IP?] to go to PC?

SCE also published stuff like Pixel Junk Eden, which, took years to get on PC.

Still, that's the only one I can think of, so, that raises chances from 0 to like, .000001.

Wut? Isn't it being co-developed with Japan Studio which is a first party Sony studio? This has like 0% chance of showing up on PC lol.

You listed it there. Dark Souls was not published by Sony nor did Sony own the IP. Demon Souls and now Bloodborne on the other hand are published by Sony and they own the IP. Sony doesn't have a history of porting titles like this to the PC.

What console exclusives has SOE developed?
