How many coffee drinkers here to start there day?

One iced coffee with skim milk every morning then iced green teas throughout the day. Had to cut back on the caffeine after I started sleeping worse because of it.

2-3 cups of black coffee a day during the week for me, black espresso from home on the weekends (if I'm not too lazy to make it)

Used to be fine drinking coffee/caffiene..... til I hit 24.

Now it triggers my IBS big time.

Excess stomach acid, nausea, stomach pain, constipation, organ pain, fast heart beat headaches/toothaches etc....

Decaff coffee and tea only.

Depends on the day. Usually on Mon-Fri 1 to 2 cups in the morning. 1 or 2 in the afternoon often as well.

I gotta say, on weekends its the best feeling. That first smell and sip of coffee is just a feeling that is second to none.

Cold brew + almond milk in the morning, whatever I can get throughout the day as needed. I don't need it, but I'm considerably more alert and productive under its delicious influence.

I used to drink coffee, or tea with caffeine, or just hit Starbucks for something coffee-esque on a regular basis.

But I started feeling pretty shitty and tired by mid-morning after a while, so I cut the caffeine completely. Despite getting up at 4:30 am, or 6 am (depending on the day), I find I can function far better now with no caffeine than I could before when drinking something caffeinated first thing.

My wife, on the other hand, is pretty much an every day coffee drinker.

At least 3 per day. One when I wake up, a large one when I walk into work and then one more about an hour after lunchtime. Just cream, no sugar.

I gotta cut down my coffee consumption. This stuff adds up real quick. I spend a lot of money on coffee every month :(

In the morning, I enloy two mugs of Maxwell House French (Dark) roast. Then, after lunch, I have a Columbian (Arabica bean). After evening desert, I have a Melitta decaf. Lastly, I have another decaf, after a late night snack (e.g. Quaker Oats and Post Golden Crisp (tastes just like Sugar Puffs from U.K.) + 2% cereal combo). I drink all coffee black and make it with Melitta's one cup cone, which works well.

My coffee drinking started when I worked at a truck stop for a year and I had to work the graveyard shift. We always cleaned the machine and got the best brew as a result. None of the other shifts take the time to clean much of the store.

Now at my next job, I always drink a cup of joe with a concha before I start :)

Two instant in the morning to overcome the misery of getting out of bed. Another one from Waitrose because it's free, and another instant before I start cooking dinner.

Usually two to three big cups (14 oz. or more) in the morning. Black most of the time, but I also sometimes like to add a good portion of heavy cream. Never sugar or any other sweetener, though.

I usually drink 3-4 cups a day. One at breakfast, one when I get to work and catch up on emails, another at around 2-3pm when I'm flagging. Maybe a 4th if I'm really tired, or if I have a meeting.

I really just love the taste of coffee, although I rarely have lattes, usually from a moka pot at home, or a cafetiere at work. Lattes just fill me up and make me feel a little bloated. I mean, who drinks that much milk in one go normally?

Only drank coffee when I needed to stay awake while studying or something. It didn't work and found out energy drinks did a better job.

I drink coffee now and then to accompany a relaxing meal.

I'm not one of those people that needs it in the morning to function, but I do like the little boost it provides and the taste.

2 cups, black, for me. Espresso if it's available.

All of you who put sugar in your coffee are the worst. Just the absolute worst. Completely ruins it. If you actually like coffee, I mean, which I guess you don't.

I used to drink it every morning in college, and shortly after during my internship. Now, it's a love/hate. Can make the day 10x greater, but other times it makes my anxiety much worse.

Depends how much sleep I've had. Sometimes I'll just drink green tea. Today I got up for Uni after 2 hours of sleep and drank 4 double Espressos before leaving the house.

Haven't been able to have any for two weeks because of health stuff and I miss it so much. Can't wait to get back on my feet and enjoy the morning drink of gods again.

Every weekday I stop at Dunkin' and get a large coffee with a little cream. I like it very much and gets things off to a nice start.

About 4-5 cups a week.

Pour some in my travel mug on the way to work. Hazelnut cream with a little sugar is the best.

Some mornings I do require 3 large cups to get going.

The drug that nobody can get on without. Been having 1 to 2 cups in the morning upon rising for awhile now. Trying to kick that habit (or at least make it only 1 cup consistently).

french press method is pretty much the same idea. I've had cold brewed and didn't notice much of a difference. The key in both is to let it steep for an extended period of time so it works fine for me.

ahhh ok, I read that wrong

I read it like you were just making a normal batch of hot coffee and then refrigerating it overnight. that'd be bad. if you're just using the french press to cold brew then you're all good.

Usually I'll have about 4-6 cups every morning and another 2or 3 after lunch. When I'm in an office environment or studying for exams/writing papers I'm pretty much never not drinking coffee.

Just one in the morning with almond milk and honey

I would die if I had as much coffee as some other people on here do. One is all I can handle

I drink a lot of UCC

Most of the time, coffee fucks with my stomach. If I'm especially tired and falling asleep at my desk after I get to work, I'll deal with the stomach problem if it occurs and have a cup of the free work stuff in the break room, usually I just put a small packet of sugar in it. Most days I just drink green tea instead though, and it does the job without messing with my stomach.

large cup of coffee in the morning and another at work to keep me going. More of a placebo now that I don't feel anything from caffeine anymore but I still convince myself I need it
