How many Steam games did you not even play?

Bom.jpg
Deus Ex is GOOD.

But the game count is kinda broken, as Steam lists that I own Ys Origin demo, which I can't fucking remove from my games list. And it doesn't show Noitu Love 2 nor King Arthur: Fallen Champions, for example.

Better than I thought.

although the majority of my activity was pre 2009, I must admit. That hours played would be atleast double.

I leave FM open all day every day most of the time, so you maybe 1/4th is actual playtime. Gotta keep them steam concurrent users numbers up somehow

So many unplayed games you broke the system. Good job, bro. ;p

(I couldn't get it to work either ... probably for the best I don't see my results.)

It was Steam's fault for all the cheap games. :p

I'm not a fan of Sega pulling the previous year's version of Football Manager from sale when releasing a new version. 2K doesn't partake in such a heinous act with its NBA and MLB games.

I think I have 9. Two free Portal and Sequence, one bought World of Goo and the rest are THQ bundle.

I have yet to play any of them seriously due to them being further down the list in my backlog and I just got a graphics card.

However, suspect that I will be heavy into Steam in this next generation.

Christ.

This is why I don't even get involved with Steam sales. My physical backlog is large enough as it is.

Once that's out of the way...

(To whoever cares, my TF2 time is skewed because of idling. I don't do that anymore because I've lost interest in the Mannconomy.)

However, a new embarrassing pictures paints itself when I look at which games I have actually bothered to slash off my backlog (or I can't exactly count them in a backlog due to their nature):

(The Endless category is where I dump games that I consider A. actually are endless, B. don't have a clearly defined completion definition or C. are meant be infinitively replayable (Super House of Dead Ninjas, Weird Worlds). For games with both single player and multiplayer components, I dump them on the Multiplayer category according to whichever I feel is the more dominant component.)

A nice even 75%. All the games I haven't played, minus two, are betas and Arma 2, which I refer to as "I've made a terrible mistake."

We had a thread on this exact website in December...

Since then my games owned have increased by 111

Games played have increased by 4

Reason for such a tiny increase is I've been sick since early December. I haven't felt up to playing to this day, but hopefully that will change soon. I don't have idling time on my account so I've played enough hours to feel satisfied that I do actually play my games when I'm well--I just can't play them all.

Scrolling down the list of games at 0 hours played, I noticed some at 0 hours that I have definitely played, like half-life 2. Could the steam stats be off on hours played maybe?

Sometime during 2009-2011 steam lost track of hours played for games, anywhere from 1-10 hours worth per game. Might've happened during one of their updates to the steam community.

Possibly; Steam's time tracking occasionally has issues, but the feature itself wasn't implemented until the UI overhaul of early 2010.

Hey if ya'll got a bunch of games you're not playing throw 1 my way!

I think I have some spare keys lying around.

Definitely didn't think I put that much time into Skyrim

EDIT: Oh wow, they track prices too. If I were to of bought all my games at full value I would have paid $925 and if I bought them all on sale only $453, thats a drastic price swing. Go thing I usually wait for steam sales

I don't PC Game much.

72% never played. Of the 500 hours on record, 30% is Victoria II. I didn't even play that too much. I think maybe just 2 games. I have a bunch of other Paradox strategy games that I haven't even touched that at that rate could easily run into the thousands of hours.

CSS is way skewed. Thats from my brother playing it years and years and years ago before I got serious with Steam in the last two years or so.

Edit: A bunch of those games I just played to start up and install mods but I haven't actually played them yet.
