How many years without PSN+,XB1L.

Gonna let my PS+ sub to run out I guess. I do most of my gaming in XB1 nowadays and the deals with the gold sub, which can be bought for really cheap, are far more attractive for me than PS's.

Last time I didn't have PS+ it was like a year, before I bought the PS4.

I let my PS+ sub run out a few months ago. I occasionally get prompts before I realize there are activities in some games I can't do, but otherwise it doesn't bother me too much.

Still subscribed to both Xbox Live and PSN and i have no intentions to stop. I love the services, the free games alone pay for my subs easily as i play a lot of them "free" games + i'm a multiplayer guy so i need it to play with friends.

Xbox Live Gold I haven't had since 2012 or 2013 when I was still playing games on my 360. Didn't get a Xbox One.

PS+ I last had until 3 months after Rocket League came out. Last thing I did was getting the Diablo 3 Platinum trophy with a buddy.

Don't miss it and think it's shitty that something so basic is held behind a game wall. But people seem to like it because "free" games and discounts.

stopped XBL during the generational transition from 360 to X1 (I didn't buy an X1)

still have PS+, but I set it to manual instead of auto so I decide if I want to renew or not

Went almost a year (December 2014 - November 2015) without XBL because I returned my Xbone after MCC was broken at launch.

Now I still have XBL until the end of the year - IÂ’ll only renew if I end up getting an Xbone X.

Got PS+ since I got a PS4. Im keeping it even if I'm not playing much online. Some of the free games were nice.
Had LIVE throughout the 360 lifecycle, stopped that as I didn't get a One.
I'm sure I'll get Nintendo Online. Kart and splatoon pretty much guarantee it, but to be honest the price is so low it's not worth arguing about it.

But people seem to like it because "free" games and discounts.

this is how i see PS+, a really cheap netflix-like digital rental service. couldn't give 2 shits about online play honestly. but those rentals, and discounts and cloud storage pay for themselves within a month, let alone a year. it's a hard thing to walk away from tbh and will ultimately be why i stay with sony moving forward. i'm too deeply ingrained within their ecosystem.

Been without PS Plus since around when I finished with DS3. I've since played Horizon, and TLG, UC4 and FFXII are next on the PS4 queue. Not going to miss Plus at all. I was playing ME:A MP for awhile on PC and have been playing CRPGs and CS:GO as well. I will be doing CoD:WW2 on XBox One though so I will be renewing XBL gold for that.

The amount of acronyms in that post would be a nightmare to a non-gamer.

I dropped XBLG in 2010 because MS' started to put out the same 3 games every year and the PC caught up with good ports. I never was subscribed to PS+ more than a month. I get it whenever there is a sale and I can save more by subscribing for a month.

I haven't played multiplayer on either my Xbox One or PS4 (I play multi on my PC if at all) and have been debating letting both lapse. I am assuming I keep my tags and such, but are the free games worth it? I think that is the only benefit at this point.

Went without both during the end of last gen and beginning of this gen consoles. Got an Xbone and been live for 2+ years since previously dropping it. PS+ I let die around that time as well. Was primarily using it for free Vita games.

Will be letting both my XBL & PSN run out, as I just used the 1 year card that came with the consoles when I bought them

Primarily a PC gamer, and I never play online besides FIFA which last time never needed PSN for party chat and clubs

Dropped XBL around 2011 because I more-or-less stopped playing my 360 in favor of the PS3. Started playing it again recently (after buying the biggest HDD I could for the original model 360) and have been a bit tempted to sign up for a month or two.

PS+ I switched from a US to JP subscription a month ago after 4-5 years with no break.

I ditched XBL Gold in 2015 and PS+ earlier this year. I play online games through Steam and the monthly games on offer got worse over time. I do not foresee going back to either subscription.

I let xbl lapse from 2004-2007, then again from 2008-2013, then just cancelled again recently. It wasn't worth it given how few xbox games I actually played.

I don't miss it at all as I almost never turn on my xbox.

I've had ps+ since they started supporting vita on it and haven't looked back. The sale discounts alone pay for the annual sub, plus it's a platform I use a lot more.

I doubt I'll pay for nintendo online, and will likely just sell splatoon once it's mandatory unless nintendo makes it vastly more appealing. I find the smart phone app pretty half-assed.

I've only ever had one year of paid subscription to XBL. Currently unsubbed and I don't plan to resub. Only ever had one month of paid PSN+ because Sony refused to refund and cancel, even partially, the automatic subscription after the 14 day trial. Never resubbing again either.

I'll likely subscribe to Nintendo's offering depending on how compelling multiplayer is on titles in the vein of Xenoblade X and Warriors games. Things I can co-op with my best bud online. Also depends on how VC as a whole and VC online multiplayer in particular works.

PC is my main platform and I don't see anything dethroning it in the future.

The only online game I play is Overwatch on PC, to be quite honest I only ever bought PS+ once for Bloodborne when The Old Hunters came out, and even that was only for a month- other than that one month, I have never bought Ps+ before or since. I have never owned an Xbox so I never had XBL.

I did not renew for a couple of months before the PS4 launched as I wasn't playing much PS back then, have had my subscription going consistently since the PS4 launch, however, and am all paid up until early 2019.

Had XBL for a year or so back in the 360 days but never used it so it lapsed about 8 years ago. I got PSN+ when i got my PS4 at launch and have only kept the sub because i had a good deal a year or so ago. Aside from the free games it wouldn't bother me if it lapsed as i don't have many friends online that play the same games as i do.

I'll probably get the Nintendo pass as it's going to be dirt cheap but i may not as i don't see what i'd use it for.

I had PSPlus for a short time when Bloodborne came out but aside from that I haven't used either service. Online gaming isn't worth paying for as far as I'm concerned. If there is a game that needs online I'll get it on PC if possible.

I've never had PSN+ membership because it doesn't exist, but I have been a member of PS+ for years now.

I dropped Xbox Gold about a year ago because I'm hardly ever on an Xbox now.

Im subbed for another 2 years I think to PSN, but there will be a major decision then about going full PC.

Unless consoles get a real CPU and don't turn into AAA game machines, and can not be years behind PCs getting cool new games, Im probably gone.

I think I've been without a PS+ sub since February. Don't miss it at all. Not a system I play much of. The free PS4 games were shit for a long time.

I've never had PSN aside from a free trial I only got so I could get the Witcher 3 Complete for $15.

I've had a PS3 since 2010~ and PS4 since this year. It's simple: I only play single player.

I do like cloud saves though, wish I had that.

Xbox live. 2 years ago. Havent turned on the consoke since tomb raider came out on it first either.what a waste of money. I should sell it to gamestop. It's the og xbone with the kinnect too.

I dropped PSN+ since the month before the last light I think, so will be way over a year I would imagine.

Reason being I play pretty much everything on the Xbox. Not that I don't like the PlayStation though just mainly used as my VR exclusive console

I let my ps+ sub lapse in sept 2016 and don't miss it a single bit.

The main reason is I primarily game on PC now, and will never again pay to play online.

That said, I still love my consoles. My ps4 and switch get played very often still.

Dropped Live Gold a few years ago. I still have a one-year card ready to use if the need ever arose (say, a good Games With Gold selection for 360 or a Gold-only sale), but nothing has ever tempted me.

PS+ I still have, partially because of the free games and partially because of all the cheap one-year subs I bought at various times.

I had Xbox Live Gold since 360 release. Finally dropped it a few months ago. Literally no reason to have it with MS's PC support now.

Keeping PS+ until it drops near the end of the year. Not going to miss it.

Haven't had Gold since the start of the gen. Whenever I need to used online on XB1 (which isn't a lot) I can just use my brothers account to give me access though, so kinda cheating.

Never had any of them, but need to get PS+ eventually to play Bloodborne I guess. But i keep postphoning it, sucks that i need it to get the full experience of what is more or less a singleplayer game.

I haven't cared about consoles for close to three years now, so it's been about that long. I think I resubbed to ps plus like a year ago for a month to play Destiny.

Paying for online multiplayer is a straight up joke.

Dropped XBL earlier this year for the first time in almost 10 years.

Might consider dropping PS+ as well once my current sub is up.

Mainly play on PC these days and when I do play on console, it's usually not multiplayer. The "free" games just aren't that much of a hook to me these days.

It's been around 15 months since the last time that I had a PS+ sub. With the exception of a few sales here and there, I haven't really missed it.

Been on XBL for.. 15 years (?) now.. Since the beta. Used to get free year cards from work (EB Games), and now I use the Bing Rewards points to renew my subscription every year.

Tried PS+ on the PS3 at some point but only did a couple of months.

Since 2013

I had a gaming PC, and predicted that most of Microsoft's first party games would come to PC when they said Xbox was now a "platform", and Japanese companies were warning up to the idea of releasing on PC. So the only multiplayer I'd miss was PS4 exclusives, and I was ok with that.

Almost forever?

Not interested in paying monthly subscriptions. I've mostly used the free trials, and monthly evaluations.
