How often do you play a game more than once?

I replay games often, but rarely to the end. Usually, I'd dip in and out as the mood takes me.

I can derive just as much pleasure from the familiar as from the new.

As for restarting unfinished games, that I do all the time. I'm currently on my fourth play through of Fire Emblem: Awakening and the furthest I got in any of them was Chapter 16.

Super Mario Bros. 2, Mega Man 3, Super Mario World, Zelda 1, 2, and LTTP, Super Castlevania IV, Final Fantasy IX, Okami, Beyond Good and Evil, Braid, Limbo. Those are about the only ones I can think of through thirty years of gaming, though I may be missing another NES title or two.

So, not very often at all. Less than 10% I'd say.

Depends on the game. If it's an action game like... say Mega Man, I'll never stop replaying it. If it's an adventure game like Zelda, I'll replay it once or so every 10 years if I really love it.

I'd say I've played about 90% of the games I own more than once. I don't buy a whole lot of games, but I play the hell out of the ones I do. The way I see it, I've wasted my money if I don't like a game enough to play it more than once.

It's hard for me to buy a game if I know it has little or no replay value.

I played Walking Dead and Wolf Among Us twice. I return to Chrono Trigger roughtly bi-annually, though that's not really a rule or anything. But there are certainly plenty I WOULD play again. I can't wait to get back into Halo, I'll be replaying LoU on PS4, and I will replay any Metal Gear Solid game this very second. I think a slight barrier is that my favorite games are mostly JRPGs because of the story immersion, but as I've gotten older it's harder to commit and complete something 50+ hours. I usually just have my best friend I've known for 16 years play for me while I surf around online or play something more instantly gratifying.
