How often is your house cleaned? Who does it?

I keep my apartment clean, but I make sure and dust/vacuum/whatever every two weeks. I clean the bathtub, sinks, and toilet about once a month.

Do my laundry on the alternating week between them. Works well.

i live in a borderline pigsty. lots of papers and stuff everywhere. kitchen and bathrooms are relatively clean but they could use a bit of work. up to me to clean but don't feel like it X)

The best way to clean a house is to not get it messy in the first place. Cleaning is a constant process for me. I don't let things get to the point where I say "man, that's really fucking dirty and I should probably clean it".

A cleaning lady does it, three hours a week.

My wife and I work full time and we have a 5 year old and an almost one year old. We don't really have time to spend on cleaning.

This too. Have a 4 year old and our cleaner comes twice a month.

I would dump cable before giving up our cleaning lady.

One you get a cleaner- you will never go back. Sometimes time is money.

Whenever it needs it. Trash bag full? It goes out. Sink getting full? Wash the dishes. Floor getting dirty? Vacuum.

The only thing I rarely do is scrub my shower. I guess it's gross but I only clean it if it looks visibly dirty.

i do the cleaning of our 3 bedroom, 2 bath house. it's just me, my wife and 9 year old son. my wife isn't great at cleaning, but she's a great cook, so it works out. i have my son help in the upstairs rooms. i get up early on sunday and do a clandestine bong hit, and begin the process. it takes me about 2 hours. my mother was a clean freak so it comes naturally to me.

When it needs it. *chuckles*

My fiancé has talked about getting a maid but I'm against it. If I can make it, I can clean it.

I wouldn't be opposed to having a place professionally cleaned before moving into it though.

I clean up as I go. Rhumba goes on everyday at noon and I clean it out at night. Dishes are done about every other day or so, trash is tossed as soon as it's full and that's it I think. Major cleaning jobs are about every 2 months or unless we have parents coming over or a bunch of guests.

I clean when ever I have a hangover because most of the mess that happens when I'm getting ready to party. I vacuum once every 2 days or so or if im walking around my house eating crackers or anything crumby.

There is no fan in my bathroom, so mold spots appears on the ceiling, and dirty stains on the walls of the shower. I CAN'T REMOVE THEM. It's so fucking annoying. Stupid landlord should have put a fucking fan.

The toilet is fucking dirty too and no matter what products I pour in and scrub it remains dirty. The tank of the toilet is all brown/rusty-like with bright green paint spots or whatever. Ugh.

My wife and I both work full time, with no kids. (yet.) We've been on vacation this week and it's gotten me thinking about hiring someone to come in and clean. Unfortunately so far I can't seem to get a good idea how much that would cost.

I do all the cleaning. I live with my disabled, elderly mom, and since she's at home 24/7, she makes a lot of mess. Dirty dishes, crumbs on the couch/carpet, trash and recycling that needs to be taken out every few days, etc. And other problems that I won't talk about here.

Plus she has two cats, and those lil' fuckers (<3) kick up tons of dust, dirt, and hair. And then there's all the messes I make myself!

Luckily, my mom and I aren't major clean freaks. I just do dishes every other day, and then do heavier cleaning on the weekends: vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, replacing the cat litter, etc.

It's exhausting. Especially after living with housemates where chores were shared. But my case is a bit different, I guess, and I have to take care of it all.

Pretty much every day. Me, my mom and my sister clean. Brothers don't do SHIT cause "they're still too young." x[

I do some tidying every day or so. I live on my own and I'm not that messy. Just usually dishes get piled up and I hate doing them.

Biweekly for rooms, weekly for bathroom, monthly for fridge. Bit of a pain because there's a cat and a dog.

I tend get annoyed when things aren't clean or organized neatly.

I pretty much am the one who cleans the house, my GF doesn't very often.

I probably clean the house maybe once a week, sometimes every couple weeks. Just depends on if guests are coming over, or if anything is starting to smell (rarely ever gets to that stage).

The hard part is I have 3 floors, and 5 small pets. So cleaning is tedious, so when I clean I don't do a real deep scrubdown or cleaning of the house too often.

I wouldn't trust that a maid would clean the house the way I want it...I'd probably just spend a few hours on the weekends doing it myself.

Dishes are done nightly. Random things are picked up at the end of the evening. House is scrubbed on saturdays. Laundry is done on Sunday. My wife and I share the responsibility.

have a maid come in every week. she cleans up everything that I can't. She needs my help when cleaning up the pipes so I help her with that.

I clean it. Not nearly often enough. It is the one area of my life in which I am a complete fuckup.

It's not unsanitary - I vacuum regularly, I do the dishes, and I clean the cat's litterbox like clockwork. But it is incredibly disorganized. Boxes and shit stacked up all over the place. Laundry all over the floor in random rooms. Books and magazines all over the place. I clean the toilet regularly but the shower door has so much cloudy buildup on it and my attempts to clean it are so half assed. I would be embarrassed if a stranger walked in right now.

Weekly for general cleaning. Dusting, vacuuming, bathroom, etc..

Kitchen gets cleaned after every meal (not an extensive clean, but benchtops, cooking surfaces, etc). Kitchen would get a throrough clean probably once a month (and its the worst), with hidden grease and shit like that. Dishes we do daily.

I keep my room nice and tidy, once a week-ish. I don't clean the rest of the house, because there's too much stuff and people get mad if I move anything/mess anything up.
