FYE actually has some decent trade in deals though from time to time. 2-3 years ago I managed to get a PS3 for 20 bucks by abusing their trade in deals and stacking trade in bonuses.
FYE will be dead in a year. I was talking to one of their store managers a couple months back, when they were closing one of the stores. He was pretty positive they didn't have much time left.
They've been closing some of the dying stores for a while now. It's not really anything new. And amazon prime is awesome. Saves tax, for me at least I get 95% of my stuff next day if I use the free two day shipping and not having to make it add up to $25 is sweet. Also, when I've preorder movies I've always gotten then the tuesday they come out.
