Any thread that gives people the hope they'll get a tag becomes instant cesspool. That includes any thread in which anyone else has gotten a tag.

I don't get gaffers obsession with tags really, most of the tags on GAF are lame as hell!

Having a tag = people more likely to notice you = people more likely to read you posts = your time here is slightly less wasted.

I considered saying something nice about a random GAFfer and making him feel bad for not knowing me even though I "know" him, but then I felt that would be kind of a dick move and decided against it.

Reading back over that, I realize that I only post about 50% of the posts I type up, and that should have been one of the ones I didn't actually post. :lol

I remember watching a couple of episodes on TV when I think I was around 4 to 6 years-old, even though the show was intended for adults. I had forgotten about it for awhile, until the dinosaur thread reminded me about the show. I'm trying to save enough money to buy the whole series on DVD.

Meanwhile, I'd say that I recognize a good group of guys and gals here, but since I hardly pop in with insightful posts (other people do this better than me and I just silently agree), news posts or OT things, my online personality doesn't leave much of a mark here. If it's a list you're looking for though, I can probably whip up something quick, but let me just keep it short and say most of the vocal members of the GAF WFC irc channel (Jiggy, Halycon, IamCanadian, Dragonlife29, Nabster, Ruffles, Crowphoenix, Threi, Mila, Masked Man, RagnarokX, JCX) are the people I notice first nowadays.

I recognize you. I used to be a Nintendo fanboy and I always enjoyed your posts because they tended to be positive towards Nintendo without also being crazy. :lol That being said I pretty much never look at the gaming side anymore. It's probably been well over a year since I posted there.

I have a tag which has red text in it which might help people sort of remember me, but other than that I think my recognition is zero.
