How would you feel if Disney bought Capcom?

That would be fucking terrible. I´m sick of these multimillion dollar corporations buying up every damn company there is, eliminating competition and gaining monopoly on their field. Disney has acquired too much already, and if they bought Capcom they would probably force them to make cuddly Disney-games and when that fail to gain any traction Disney wonders what the fuck is up and then they close the studio.

I'd like to see this with Marvel money behind it. Capcom is a shell of what it was 15 years ago. They were the Rockstar Games of the 90's.

We would finally get Darkstalkers 4. Morrigan now fights in a pantsuit, and now makes politically correct puns for victory poses, she only gets off on being the best ruler of the Makai kingdom. New villain and ruler of the underworld is Donnie Thump, a most evil creature that has a squirrel on his head. Demitri is replaced by a new vampire, Holdy, she has purple hair so Disney swears you love her. Felicia wears pants.

Resident Evil doesn't change much from 7, but the new enemies say things on the internet, so that makes them the most evil things ever and Disney wants them dead. So you will have to make your way through a mansion of these most evil creatures before there plague words hurts the feelings of our new hero, Johnson Rian.

Hopefully not, Capcom should keep its freedom but if they were looking to be acquired then I'd hope Nintendo, Microsoft or Sony would acquire them.

Please stay away from Capcom, Disney. You got enough shit already.

At this point I not sure I'd be happy if Disney bought anyone.

Capcom they'd prob slowly dismantle and wipe their ass with the IPs.

It would get shut down two to three major releases later.
In the lead up to that, there would be insane executive meddling and creative compromises.

Japanese developers got a taste of the american game software development model (if it's broke, fire everyone, you can always rehire them later) with EA and Microsoft's short lived stints there, and then even as developers working for hire they got to experience what malicious contracts designed to guarantee failed milestones that lead to studios going broke or altering the deal further in the corporation's favor (Platinium Games, Level-5...)
 
I don't want to see Disney acquire anymore than they have. In fact, it may be time to bust that monopoly. It is bad for everyone to have Disney being so big and powerful.

Also with Disney's history in games, you would get two years of hype for the game there making and then Disney will kill the games department without releasing a product.

It would be a fucking catastrophe. Disney make "family friendly" content (bye-bye Resident Evil) & insert a checklist of elements in their products, i.e. a by-the-numbers approach which entails making a product based upon criteria dreamed-up corporate suits & "social justice" propagandists. Toys? Check. "Diversity"? Check. etc. etc.

Meanwhile actual creative minds take a backseat & one soulless product after another is dropped on our head (Star Wars for example).
 
Disney would be one of the worst companies to do this. After their last foray into video games I think they should just stick with their current strategy of licensing out their IP.
 
I don't care about Disney buying Capcom but I would like to see a Marvel ONLY fighter.

No Capcom characters, just Marvel only like Injustice. Maybe they can add Ryu and Darth Vader as guest characters but keep the rest of the roster strictly Marvel.
