How's your Wii U collection?

Quick question for you physical collectors. How do you all feel about sealed game that are ruined by all the holes in the eco cases for retail games. For me it bugs the crap out of me. I really hope NX cases dump that junk.

Severely lacking in titles. Ever since moving to Japan I've been grabbing them digital since its hard to find NA version of Nintendo games here (compared to PS3/4 that is.) Same with securing the eshop cards so my play time on the Wii U fell of dramatically. Think this week I will pick up Mario 3D world since I've been itching for a colorful game to play (but I hate platforms lol, might like this one though) Something to run through with friends, which the Wii U is basically relegated to these days.

The lack of sales and price drops on non-indie titles that have been out for years on the eshop is another reason I don't buy many Wii U titles. Still some games I want and will be getting once I make a dent in the PS4 backlog.

Duuuuude. That is the bane of my collection. Buying a new game online, opening the bubble mailer and seeing all the dents before I even open it... *sigh*. Its not even just eco cases. Happens so often around the disc ring or the manual holder tabs.

With the exception of Splatoon, I think I've got every game I want from the WiiU library. I'm really happy with how the WiiU library turned out. It can't claim to have as many games as other systems, but it sure had many quality ones. Will get Paper Mario and Zelda when they release. Side note: Favourite game is Xenoblade Chronicles X. Though it's lacking in some aspects, its open world is everything I've ever wanted.

Edit: Forgot about Star Fox, Game & Wario and Fatal Frame. Will need to get those in the future, too.

Good to know I'm not the only one and man I could tell you so many Amazon nightmare stories it is ridiculous. The worst had to be Best Buy when they sent me Smash 4 the expensive boxed version in a bubble mailer. I was so pissed off with them. Funny thing is that is where my luck with online game purchases went to shit.

Best Buy in my area has now switched to cardboard bubble mailer, but before that they used bubble mailers, and this one time where I made a big order and was pretty sure they'd use a box, they instead used a comically big bubble mailer. Like, I had never seen a bubble mailer that large before. Could fit a small child. It gave me a good chuckle before I had to open the package.
 
I just managed to recently purchase a Wii U, after never owning the original Wii. Managed to find it on Craigslist for about $200. I am new to the console, and am just getting used to working with the Gamepad and the Wii U library. I only have three games, which are the ones included here (excluding NintendoLand) and my recently purchased Pikmin 3. I am hoping to get several games, but I have a question. How did several of you guys managed to get a Wii U copy of the original Bayonetta and Project Zero? I can't find either of those two to purchase. I am hoping to get LOZ: Wind Waker, Smash Bros Wii U, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Bayonetta 2, Tokyo Mirage Sessions, etc. I am a broke college student, so building a library is going to be very slow. Please give me some suggestions! I am a very, very late adopter.

Those two are only available in Europe, sadly. The original Bayonetta comes with the early copies of Bayonetta 2 on its own disc (but not in a separate case), so if you want that maybe try to track it down.

Enjoy your console, though! If you never owned the Wii either, there's a lot for you to play.
 
I mostly buy WII U games when some store sell them out cheap, so I dont have that many.

Honestly that's really not a bad lineup. Plus there is stuff I definitely still want to get (Treasure Tracker, Tropical Freeze and Wooly World specifically) and there is still Paper Mario coming out that I am pretty excited for. Then there's stuff like Lego City and Wonderful 101 that I guess I'm kinda unsure about but would still like to try. And I have some digital Wii games on there as well.

Also I need to get Tokyo Mirage Sessions. But I also need to find the time to be able to play it.

Surprisingly, the Wii U is the console I own the most games for this gen. I plan on picking up Tokyo Mirage Sessions and Pokken Tournament pretty soon, but I'm currently playing through Valkyria Chronicles Remastered on PS4 (game's fucking amazing, you all need to play it).
 
I only have Bayonetta 1+2, The Wonderful 101 and ZombieU. I bought it when it was cheap as a Platinum box so it's ok.
 
Pretty healthy. I just got DKTC and came very close to buying Splinter Cell last night, but decided that I have too many unfinished games to spend £20 on a new one.

My collection is about half of what most people are posting here, but I consider it mostly complete considering my expectations going in. I expected to have a nice group of first party titles by the end and that's what I got. It reminds me a lot of my GameCube collection, but with fewer third party titles. That's not a slam since I honestly didn't see myself buying 3rd party on Wii U - I didn't buy any indie titles either.

The only thing I feel like I'm missing is a Metroid game. And of course a Zelda game, but since I skipped TP on Wii, that ended up being my Zelda for Wii U.

I own bayo1+2, w101, tropical freeze, mk8, smash, 3d world, zombiu, nintendoland, game and wario, mh3u, assassin's creed 3, a digital copy of pikmin 3, and nsmbu.

i also have some vc and eshop stuff i don't feel like remembering.

still intending to grab copies of TMS, star fox, captain toad, kirby, yarn yoshi, XCX, the luigi expansion for nsmbu, and maybe mario maker.

It really is a great package. It feels almost classy and high end especially with the gorgeous manual. It's a shame it didn't get a black case as it looks really stunning with one.

Euro cases are solid, so I don't have that problem thankfully.

Really? The Euro ones look hideous to me especially with the white space around the Wii U Logo and the colored triangles clashing with the blue. It just looks too cluttered and busy.
