Several people on PreCentral reported getting cancelled. As for SMB, I know they're out of stock and are absolutely not getting anymore in stock ever, but I don't know where people who have orders on hold with them sit.

Also, if you ordered from HP.com and are feeling extra impatient with your "in process" order:

Purchased 32 GB TP through HP Academy last Friday 11:00 PM...since status still said "Item being processed" today, I called HP and they told me the TP already shipped. They gave me the Fedex tracking number...will receive it tomorrow. Excellent! The HP rep. put my name on the list for when more TPs are available.

I just checked bestbuy's inventory checker and it shows every store close to me with in store only. Do they really have or is bestbuy just trolling me?
 
Poster as SD claims he received his onSale order today. He used 1 day shipping and his order status at Amazon never updated.
 
Very interesting, this is the 3rd status change for the Pre 3 on Palm.com in a span of two hours. Now they're saying:

Looks like HP finally decided to try to salvage some of their losses from this afterall. I wonder what the bundle will be.

Well it's been fun guys but I'm done. The last try I'm doing is calling a local Best Buy in a few hours after they get their supposed shipment in see if they got any of these. If they don't get any I'll just wait and get an iPad later.
 
Macmall/Onsale/PCmall when I talke dto them last night mentioned the fact they are overwhelmed and processing everything as fast as they can. Orders are going out etc. They said they are going out first come first serve basis as far as orders.

Wouldnt give up hope yet. I placed my order at macmall at 4:30 PM PST on Sunday and my order shipped last night

so...who's next...there's a ton of tablets not selling...this is surely a repeatable thing? maybe not $99, but perhaps $200 for android tablets from certain makers (Acer, ASUS, etc etc)...and if Amazon says 'f it', were giving it away at cost or slight loss to make headway and sell content...boom goes the dynamite? right? There is no room for a Galaxy, a Xoom, a Tab, and an EEEEEEEEPad (plus countless others thats are 'decent')


Remember when the nook color looked like a bargain android(hack) tablet at $249...those days are over. If the non-ipad market is going to gain critical mass, it may be due to the sacrifice of the 1G 2G android tablets to the market at a loss...

Its a theory...I suppose.

Well listening to the HP recording now they state that if you have placed your ordered before 4 AM CST Monday then you will be getting a Touchpad from them. Just called when I wanted to see if my order went through or not.

FedEx re-uses tracking numbers. It will hopefully update eventually, but it doesn't always happen.
 
After I emailed BB.com asking them to cancel my order, I learn that Amazon might not ship mine after all, and now people are saying BB has shipped theirs... *bitter tears*
 
Earlier somone said that they sometimes give out old tracking numbers. You should still be good apparently. Not sure how you'll be able to track your package though...

wow I'm getting screwed over. I placed my order at 5:29 PM EST from Onsale via Amazon and my order hasn't been shipped and my card hasn't been charged.
 
Random email to HP sales rep from buying tons of datacenter gear last year pays off!
Couple 32gb models coming and they are selling them for $99 since the 16gb are completely gone.
She did mention that a ton of resellers are 'debating' what to do with stock and could release at any time.

I got charged for both my Amazon onsale orders and BB (all made Sunday morning)


I hope I get my shit.
 
I cant wait for all you you to get one so I can see if anyone has extras. I have struck out on every site and store order so far...
