B&N you mean? Those were by far the most confirmed cancellations I've seen in this thread... but to their credit at least they have informed the people about the cancellation, most other stores didn't have the courtesy to even do that yet.

B&H is a different retailer, located in NYC.
 
So looking back through the thread, I have a nagging feeling that those of us who ordered from onSale a quarter after 5 EDT and later yesterday are probably screwed. That's the first time it was mentioned as being sold out, despite being inexplicably "restocked" a minute or two later, which it continued to do for another hour or something. The pessimist in me thinks those later sales were made in error, and will probably be cancelled.

FYI, I ordered at 5:23, so I am probably doomed.

I guess i'll try calling Customer Support tmw for HP....it's so lame though, a trade off between getting the shipping fee waived and possibly having my order wiped off the face of the HP earth.

At least one of us got it ( i hope you had it shipped to my apartment so i can make sure it works for you)

This might explain why my order # doesn't exist anymore. That datadavis or whatever ebay seller better ship me one or i will leave feedback so snarky he will rue the day he opened shop.

I was at the same stage of the process as you were before I got the shipping notification, so don't give up hope yet.

I ordered about 30 minutes ago and I now have an order status page. And there's NO WAY I'm getting one. I think they're handing out order status pages like candy.

For some reason, I feel this Seinfeld bit is appropriate...
 
That's probably the hold up with orders. HP is loading android on all the $100 touchpads since webOS is the real value.

Are you talking about the page you get when you try to look at the associated order number, or the order status page? If it's the former, than I had the same problem, and I don't think it's anything to worry about.

Did you try calling them? I tried to call today and see if I could cancel my order with them.




Sweet, Bestbuy Touchpad will be here tomorrow.

Order status page :( Lol i don't know what's going on. On the order status page you click on "view" to see the details, it used to bring up the normal page showing estimated delivery/address/etc but then it said my Order wasn't in the vista and to call a sales rep, just that one line of text. I just tried to check again and the order status link, just to log in, takes me to a Sorry we can't find that page standard hp webpage. Something is off Xo

Seems like HP got nuked from space.
