Holy shit we're actually getting Planet Hulk.
About how it will fit into Thor Ragnarok, my theory is this:
When Asgard gets f'd up Thor flees into a distant planet and he finds Hulk fighting as a a gladiator in slave pits. He recruits Hulk and they kick ass together.

I'm guessing that Thor bumps into him IN SPACE! Maybe he finds out that Banner is being forced to compete in gladiatorial combat and decides to help him. So like a Thor movie with bits and pieces taken from Planet Hulk.

Partly because a Hulk solo or branded movie is impossible without splitting the profits with Universal, who has perpetual distribution rights to any Hulk film, so he's gonna be put in other people's / ensemble films only.
