Humble Capcom Rising Bundle (DmC, BTA: REmake, RE0, $12: DR2, DR3)

So DR2:OtR is essentially a slightly changed DR2, with one new location and a mode with no timer? Why is that a lower tier then vanilla DR2?

For the record I've played neither, but tried looking up the differences.

$1 is about the most ill pay for DmC again

$1 is the most DmC is worth.

It also changes things by adding auto save (which kinda kills the tension of the timer) and a non-canon story. It's a fun romp, but it doesn't completely replace the original game.

Can't be arsed with Umbrella Corps, anyone who wants it (plus the ultimate edition upgrade) can PM me.

Edit - it's been given away now.

Might be in for the middle tier. already have DR2 and 3, but never played Off The Record or Resident Evil 0.

Speaking of RE0, how is the game actually? I loved the original games and the REmake on the Game Cube was amazing.

Nice! Just got it for REmake. The only RE I haven't yet beaten (neither the original nor the remake).

Oh man, you're in for a great time.
Mikami is a god

I think most people consider it to be the either the weakest, or one of the weakest in the classic style RE games. It's still pretty good if you enjoy that genre though.

I bought this and in retrospect it was worth it but there were a lot of those games that I already owned. I'm guessing the version of DmC: Devil May Cry included here doesn't include all of the dlc? (I'm at work so I don't know)

So how does the PC version of DmC: Devil May Cry compare to the PS4/X1 Definitive Edition? I've only played tiny bits of DmC at a friends house on PS4 so I've never played through it but I've always been interested in it. I own a PS4 and if that version is better I'll just finally pull the trigger and buy that version.

I'm at work so I can't really do much research into this now but it looks like the PS4 version has better controls, turbo mode, additional harder difficulties and the ability to play as Vergil in the Bloody Palace mode. In a quick search for mods of the PC version I found a turbo mode mod and a mod to play as Vergil in Bloody Palace and the frame rate is apparently better on PC. So what's the difference in controls between the PC and PS4 version? Also, am I missing anything?

It's solid. It gets a lot of crap, but honestly that was because people were (as much as they may not want to admit it with the state of things today) burned out on the Resident Evil formula by that time. Now that it's a formula that is dead and buried it can be truly appreciated now. It isn't the worst classic RE, I say it's on par with 3 and definitely better than CV.

I feel like very few people share my stance that Zero is a better game than RE3 and (especially) CVX. Part of my experience with RE Zero is colored by some of my previous playthroughs of the game.

First time I played through it back in the day was at a Bday party I threw as a teenager. We were all in the garage (which was converted into a living room-like space) where me and a buddy of mine sat down on the couch and started playing through Zero for the first time. It was great because every time we got to a puzzle everyone else in the room would start chiming in with solutions and then go back to what they were doing once it was solved.

Another time, I don't remember how but I figured a way to get the game to recognize two separate controllers as P1 controllers. As a result I was able to play the game in a pseudo cooperative fashion with a buddy. I was Rebecca and they were Billy. We would make "tactical" decisions about who would take primary control. It was a fun/interesting way to play the game.

Vanilla DmC is hot garbage compared to the Definitive Edition.

- 1080p 60fps
- All DLC included (costumes, weapon skins, Vergil's Downfall, and the orb magnet)
- Vergil's Bloody Palace. 60 floors.
- New costumes: DMC1 Dante and DMC3 Vergil
- Manual lock-on
- Option for toggled lock-on. (new to DMC)
- Gods Must Die difficulty: No items, enemies have more HP, hit harder and start in DT. (new to DMC)
- Hardcore Mode: Game plays more like classic DMC. Style meter drops faster and drops from letter to letter. Dante's DT doesn't launch enemies. Parry and evade windows are tighter. (Is a toggle option).
- Turbo Mode. 20% like DMC 3 and 4.
- Must Style: Enemies only take damage on S-rank and above (new to DMC. Inspired by posts made by Dahbomb according to one of the devs)
- Faster Rainstorm (based on mods)
- Triple Angel Evade like Trickster's Triple Dash from DMC3 (based on mods)
- Tweaked style ranking mechanics
- Rebalanced difficulty (enemy AI, HP&damage values have been heavily tweaked. Green Orbs have a lower drop rate IIRC). Vergil in particular is way harder. GMD Hardcore Must Style Vergil is legit.
- Different item placements for every item, secret mission door type and Lost Soul.
- Vergil's fedora has been removed from cutscenes (the team didn't like it). The Mundus-Lilith sex scene is now cut, is implicit rather than explicit. The ending scene with Dante and Kat is slightly longer with them walking off and Dante grabbing her butt.

That's about it. The change log .pdf was 23 pages long.

anyone have a spare RE0 and RE1 code?
or we can trade any games?
I have AOM,Sleeping dogs kane and lynch 1&2. shoot me a pm if interested.

Anyone happen to have a 50% SFV code they don't want??

E: Or, if I'm reading this right, since you can't gift the discount, does anyone want to buy the SFV and give me the steam code for $20?

I'd like to do some RE6 co-op with a friend. So if anyone's got an extra RE6 key I have extra copies of Dead Rising 2 OTR, Strider and DmC as well as all the coupons. Obviously if you have the bundle you probably don't need 'em but hey I might as well throw that out there. I'll just give them out in here otherwise.

I have an extra. Will PM it to you. That game is a blast in Co-op.
