Humble Frozen Synapse: New Humble Indie Bundle Offer!

Kerrby said:
You're paying for the 'Frozen Synapse Bundle' a bundle that contains one game. If you pay a certain amount of money you get another bundle. It's not that hard to understand.

I have all of these, but it's a nice idea to include older bundles after a certain amount of money. Still waiting for that SMB bundle...

What I find baffling are all these posts that aren't interested in the games, but wanting to donate for charity.

You know, you could have just donated to a charity directly...

I mean, it's great either way that you donated. But direct would probably be more helpful if you really aren't going to play these games...

I find it great, sometimes you don't think about it until something like this comes to your attention. Either way directly donating to charities or through things like this, its great to see people help.

Balls bought the bundle before realizing I already owned most of the games. As a result I have a extra copy of Frozen Synapse that I have little use for. So I might as well give that away to some poor soul that don't have it. So if anyone out there wants it and can't buy it for whatever reason, let me know and it's yours.

I like it because even if I have the game in some form this gives me full access to a Linux version that other wise might not have ever happened. Plus I can give away my steam key to a friend or something if I don't want the games or already own them.

IDK... it's just a little added incentive even if I already own the stuff such as already owning say Trine when the FrozenByte bundle hit.

The bundle now includes Trauma.

Edit: Like previous games that were added later, this one should be in your Steam library if you already bought the bundle.

Always wanted to try Frozen Synapse so will buy this likely towards the end of the sale. I love these bundles so it is hard to avoid paying for them.

I wouldn't be surprised if games are added to it later like they've done in the past making it a real bundle.

I guess they added it when they passed 100K downloads. I am so smrt.

Anyone interested in a Frozenbyte Bundle key (The one with Trine)? I got one left. Quote this post if you do.

So before I go buy this I have a few questions.

1) How well does the game run on a HD3000 GPU? I'd probably be playing it on my Macbook Air, and it has no dedicated GPU. I see there is a warning on the website about integrated GPUs so I figure I'd ask here.

2) Does FS activate on steam?

3) How much single player content does FS have? No internet at home so I can't play coop/vs with people, so I'd like it if the game has some substantial single player content.

if anyone is curious, humble bundle #3 did 500k after ~17 hours and 1 million at about a week.

sitting at $681k after 5-6 days(?).

obviously this is a great cause, but i guess the average consumer doesn't want rehashes with 1 new game cause the popularity went way down.

We should compare this with the Frozenbite Bundle though, not the HIB3.

I think the Frozenbite Bundle actually did less than a million.

SpaceChem added to the bundle. If you don't buy it you're dumb (note: playing SpaceChem may make you feel dumb).

Nice! Deserves to be played by more people.

Well fuck, this has just persuaded me to buy my first pc game since the early 90s, I've had my eye on Frozen Synapse since it's release. By default I now also have a steam account. It's a brave new world!

Be sure to play SpaceChem as well. Aaaaawesome game.

you have to go back to your unique humble page and get the steam code for it. it's a separate key from the frozen synapse key

1) It runs on my 4 years old laptop with a Radeon x1400!!!

2) Yes

3)It has a campaign with story, text dialogue and the maps change every time you replay them.

should we expect anymore stuff? how many things do they usually add?

not demanding anything.. just curious.
It's anyone's guess but I wouldn't be surprised if something else gets added if it gets to $1 million. It's sitting at $887K right now.

Remember Toma pimping space chem when the steam sale was on, forgot to pick it up so will grab it now :)

Tried to play some SpaceChem. Now I consider myself relatively smart, but I was getting lost on what they wanted me to do sometimes. Challenging? Yes! Still I think the directions for poor for some of the 1st few levels.

PS: Played some late night FS before and after the crew wanting to play LoL. Was hella fun!!!

Er-that doesn't matter?

Start game. Make turn. Log off. Check e-mail: "Oh, hey a new turn." Log in, make turn. Log off. Check e-mail: "Oh hey, a turn!" Log in, make turn...

SMH... did you even read? They have no internet at home... aka none of that is possible...
