It really is quite good. I'd recommend the bundle for that and Defcon alone. I'm fond of Darwinia, but Uplink and Defcon have this really minimalistic-yet-immersive style to them that is just... It's something unique. It's amazing what they achieved simply by emulating the stereotypical movie-style hacking and movie-style nuclear warfare from the point of view of the man in charge of it all.

Aquaria is one of the better Metroidvania that isn't Metroid or Castlevania. Gorgeous art and music and a really neat concept. It's a top tier 'B' game.

If you can possibly stretch to afford it, I heartily recommend it. However, it isn't essential gaming, so if you actually don't have the money then don't. You can probably pick it up for cheap in the Steam xmas sale.

I just played around with it for a while. There isn't really much to do, but watching the city get generated looks really cool (plus the final result is amazing).
