I think it might be because its not tied to the over the average bonus content so it needs its own separate code away from the Blocks that Matter and Isaac code.

I'm not sure if this will help you, but you can increase the amount you paid later on. So, like, you can do a dollar or so now, then increase it to what you originally wanted later.
