If the price goes down after you preorder, you will get it for the lower price. I went ahead and canceled my reg order for this one.

I wonder if the LE's pages are bigger, showing more per page, and thus have less pages than the Regular.
Or it doesn't include the comic because it's not mentioned in the description.

Unlikely. They might be counting endpapers in the regular edition, or there could be a revised and reduced table of contents, less publisher/author information, or a reduced index in the limited edition.
Edit: oh, lack of the manga sounds more plausible

Well, you're buying it mostly for the cover to sit on a shelf, aren't you? It sounds like the LE has the superior outward appearance.

I think we found out about this prematurely. Did anyone else notice that the regular edition on Dark Horse's site is only 248 pages?

Boy I wish it were canon though, it's a pretty neat story.
This LE here though, I guess I'll preorder it too, and cancel one a month from now or something, once we know more.
Their site is probably outdated. The original Japanese version has 240 pages, +8 for the manga = 248.

had the standard edition preordered from amazon, but i may cancel and order the limited edition depending on what the cover looks like.

I'm holding onto both normal and limited edition preorders, personally. After what happened with the Final Fantasy artbook set (Released to just about no fanfare, no pun intended, and practically nonexistent after a little more than a month with aftermarket rates going QUADRUPLE the original retail price), I'm making damn sure I get this book in both forms.

No, that equally describes the regular edition, if you discount the manga.
So far the differences are that the LE cover is faux leather and the pages have have golden edges.
For those wondering, most of the book is on SS, TP and Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass. Basically, the more recent the title, the more pages it will have. Surprising there isn't much on OoT. Of course, it's criminal (and expected) that there is hardly any MM content. Still a great book.

Sent an email to Dark Horse about the content differences. I'd be willing to pay extra if the quality is superior. Don't skimp on an official Nintendo art book, especially a Zelda one!
