Some people were saying that in Lana's trailer, for example, she said the Japanese words for "upsy daisy" and other phrases that would possibly be translated into English. See my thread about the Lana trailer.About the voices: they never changed the voice acting for regular Zelda games, why would they do it for this game? It doesn't seem to have any voiced dialogues at all.
As I understand it, they'll take occasional potshots at you, and they can screw you up with running lunges and stronger/more frequent attacks on higher difficulties. But the mobs are mainly there for you to to string together combos for stronger attacks. The enemy officers and the boss monsters are where you'll have to really pay attention. The mobs try to soften you up for those officer/boss battles where you'll need to be in good shape in order to win. Also, you're not merely wiping out enemies, but you're racing all over a huge battlefield with many smaller battles taking place, and you need to liberate zones, reclaim others, assist allies on the verge of defeat, escort targets and put certain sequences into order (like activating the magic circles and fairy fountain).Wow, it's a very Japanese game isn't it. Are the mobs meant to just stand around without attacking?

I think they very deliberately arranged the Darknut battle for this reason. Seeing Agitha tumble toward it and then summon a giant dive-bombing beetle is one of those things we don't see everyday. There is something quite amusing of a little girl defeating a massive army like that.
Yes. See Post #108.are the enemies supposed to just stand around like that? they werent even moving, let alone attacking

Either way, it's not a lot of dialogue, and most of the narrative is written text.

I don't see the appeal of the game. Looks like a bore to me.
This... This is incredible.. The more I hear about this game the more I want it and I've never played a warriors game in my life..
Nintendo of America also posted Lana's trailer on its official YouTube channel with the voice acting unchanged, so this further lends credence to them not changing the voice track for release outside of Japan.
Anyway, man, that giant fluorescent beetle attack freaks me out.

Because easy difficulty is something that only eastern video games have, right?![]()
Nah, they were meant as two different statements. Artstyle and gameplay and....'voice acting' all seem very Japanese. Mobs standing around just seems a little weird. I get that they're just to slow you down but I hope at higher difficulties they do throw themselves at you too.
Not that I'm actually interested in the game though.

Agitha playable before Groose. That bugs me.
To be honest, I don't want to be interested in this game, because I'd rather stay away from the Dynasty Warriors franchise, but the fanservice makes it hard to resist, not to mention the coop mode.
I'm afraid that if the game turns out to be good despite being a Dynasty Warriors, I'll need to buy it. In any case, I can't say I'm not excited by some of the moves pulled by the cast. Very fun to watch, and I hope it will be very fun to play too. The gameplay videos seem to give us a good idea of what to expect though: in the end, a Dynasty Warriors stays a Dynasty Warriors, though damn that one looks good.
Funny it took this game to see Zelda actually fighting.
Tecmo does what Nintendon't.
You can't 'get' Warriors games by looking at videos. You actually have to play them to realise just how devastatingly boring they really are. Apparently there's a market for that.
Please don't kill me, Muso fans. I'll give this one a fair shot.
