I cannot help but feel a bit dissapointed about Uncharted 4

I did like how a lot of the areas were more open than they had been in previous Uncharted games. Still felt too linear to me though. Kinda boring too. The multiplayer had a bunch of issues too that wore thin on me after a few weeks. Ended up selling the game on Amazon. Good game, but ultimately pretty disappointing for me.
If the maps were anymore open, the game would end up like Rise Of The Tomb Raider. Don't get me wrong, I like that Crystal Dynamics tried something new instead of just trying to be an Uncharted clone. While their attempt of blending linear and open world games was far from perfect, exploration did indeed feel more rewarding than Uncharted 4. However, you'd be lying if you thought the huge hub areas didn't make the story an incoherent mess in RotTR. To me, a coherent, well written story and great banter between characters are far more important in a ND game. They are ahead of the pack in story telling in games after all.

It was definitely the most boring out the ND Uncharted games for me, and nothing about the narrative made up for the slower pace. The fact that we're several months separated from its release and I haven't even started a second playthrough speaks volumes for me. I replayed U2 and U3 as soon as I beat them, and would have done the same with UDF if I wasn't borrowing it from a friend (though even with that game I went straight to my Crushing playthrough after I beat it on hard).
