I'm ready

I was not ready to watch this again.

For the first time in almost 2 decades, the Dallas Cowboys look like they actually know what they're doing. But I can feel it, this is the year the uncrowned king takes his throne.

May Jimmy Johnson hear our prayers and bless us throughout this season.
You may as well have people off the street at running back, and Murray was the reason y'all did so good last year (ironically enough because he got the ball outta Romo's hands)...

Fall Saturdays are the best. Wake up semi hungover, get an unhealthy breakfast, put Gameday on (love you Corso) and get ready to tailgate.

Sundays aren't bad either.

LEGEND

I can't wait for my Steelers to cruise their way to bye week, before having a meltdown of epic proportions at the end of the season, barely making it to wild card, and then losing to fucking Buffalo or some shit.

I can't wait for Mizzou to win another division title, to complain when people make excuses that the division was "down," then to watch in horror as we get run out of the stadium in the conference championship. That's kind of our thing and I'm just going to embrace it.

Can't bring myself to care about the Rams right now, for multiple reasons.

I'm with you OP. I've watched full games of preseason football between teams that I don't even care about.

Wish I could get into college football, but I don't have a team to cheer for.

oh god Football can't come soon enough

Saints are gonna have a throwaway season so i'm all in on Bones's Bruisers

You have no idea. I am so antsy for this college season to start. We are way too hyped for me to feel comfortable, but who knows.

The NFL is still the only pro sport I follow regularly, but I enjoy college football much more. It helps that Duke doesn't completely suck, and my dad, who is a big Alabama fan, enjoys following the sport in general. Its a natural conversation subject for us.

I don't know if I can do it again after last season.

Though I think I've said the same thing the past several years. At least last year wasn't as soul-crushing as the Auburn loss.

DYER WAS DOWN.

I was at both games. :( Both were so frustrating. So many missed opportunities.

Can't wait to see UCLA slam USC back into reality for the 4th year in a row.

Nervous as FUCK about our QB situation, sweet baby jesus!

Go Bruins.

I don't know how you Americans cope with such a long gap between the football seasons. I usually go mad after a few weeks of no soccer, so I can't imagine going almost 7 months of no football. How do you guys cope?
If you are into a lot of sports then it isn't a big deal. Right after football comes college basketball, then the Masters, then the NBA finals, then baseball gets rolling, then Wimbledon comes around and the US open in golf, etc.

By learning to enjoy more than one sport. A foreign concept, I know. :p College football is by far my favorite sport though, so it's still pretty damn hard.

I have a feeling that the Seahawks are gonna go on some crazy revenge trip and crush everybody on the their rampage to claim what was rightfully ours.

Is the Lombardi trophy gold this year? I feel like it should be.

Me toooo. Working at a sportsbook it means more players and more money to be made. Just having baseball is dead season lol.

Can't wait to watch the Saints' defense collapse. Oh well, the RB commission + Cooks + Brees will carry them to the championship of the worst division in the league!

If history tells us anything, once again this season will Eli take out the Pats in the Super Bowl. And it will be glorious.

I can't wait for football to be outlawed. Barbaric sport, where you watch guys shorten their healthy lives considerably.

As a business move, it makes total sense. But there's no way I'm buying into the notion that they're somehow better off without him.

No one is saying they are better off without him, but having a running back by committee approach can have very fine results with the best run blocking team in the game. The production drop off is clearly evident in the history of the game, I truly think we would have split carries this season with him and Randle if we did keep him. I love Murray, I'm more afraid of losing his ability to turn a third and 2 into a nine yard gain than anything else, that will be missed.

But Dallas will be productive in the running game this year, we had to get pass rushing depth above all else, dropping Murray was a necessary move

Please let the Buccaneers win it all.

I don't even give a shit about sports, but my son went to Buccs training camp and has the entire team's autograph on a ball...
